  1. There are so many good guns you could get in that price range. I agree with DaddyO that Bersa guns are very underrated. My choice would be what Murgatroy suggested - I'd look for a good used Glock. But that's just me. Taurus has come a long way over the last decade or so and you could most likely pick up a brand new Taurus 9mm and stay within your budget. Just keep your eyes open. There are a ton of good pistols you could pick up for less than $400. Good luck.
  2. Welcome from the opposite end of the state. Haven't been to Knoxville in a long time, but I'll have to be sure and swing by next time I come through!
  3. Welcome to TGO, Donald! Glad to have you here with us!

    Portable WHAT!?!

  5. I wish that place was near me. Wait, no I don't. I spend enough money as it is. Congrats on the addition!
  6. 'Bout time, right! The PIF box 'o stuff is going to HvyMtl.
  7. What about a judge? I don't know one in the area, but if you prefer non-denominational etc.
  8. OK, I got the box 'o stuff in today. Here is what it now contains: Two new Magpul anti-tilt followers for 30rd AR-15 Mags Kydex Mag pouch for .22 (marked Beretta 22A) Kydex shotshell holder for belt Kydex Pepper spray pouch (might hold other stuff too) Pair of genuine (or maybe not) pearl grips for a small revolver Lee Chamfer Tool Lee Primer Pocket Cleaner New Maxam Pocket Knife AR-15 Chamber Brush Zippered Pistol Rug Standard AR-15 pistol grip Nylon slip-over-stock ammo holder We're up to 12 items now (but like XD said, who's counting??). Same rules as when it was first posted by Westwindmike. First PM gets it all.
  9. As far as the LCP Kholster, I found that I could not adjust the clips low enough to get the gun high enough (make sense??). I emailed Jimmy and he told me that he could make a replacement on a larger piece of leather (the crescent size) so that I could adjust it to my liking. I received an email from USPS about an hour later. He had the replacement on the way to me before I even had the shipping label on the one I wanted to return. All I can say is that I am very impressed. I'll be buying more holsters from him as the needs arise.
  10. That's awesome! On a side note, the "CAUTION! Left hand drive - No signal" you see on one of the trucks should also be painted on the rear of most of the cars in Memphis...
  11. If it did ask that, you'd automatically have a score of over 50...
  12. I had a -4. I do visit ATMs after dark that aren't in a police substation, but "You visit ATMs after dark in a marked squad car" wasn't an option...

Best of luck Drewsett. Hope all goes well for you!
  15. Something else to keep in mind; you do not have to actually say anything to show attitude.
  16. In the media's eyes, if skank mouthed off to the judge, then it's not a story.
  17. Not "Stalker Snake"...
  18. Seen it a thousand times. Never works out quite as planned.
  19. Wouldn't that make them common law...
  20.
  21. Oh yes. I learned long ago to always buy a comfy couch...
  22. No money left.
  23. Well said, Teddy. BTW, the pic ain't showin' up...
  24. No, then you'd have to deal with the DMV when trying to get a new license. Not worth it...
