  1. I appreciate it! I'm think I will get in touch with my current 401k administrator and see what they say about moving it over (fees, taxes, etc.). I may end up having to call you if they confuse me thoroughly enough.
  2. Well, Tripledigitride, I have to say I think you got your money's worth. I've seen the Coast lights at a few different places (I think Sportsmans Guide carries them), but I've never heard much about how well they work. Pretty much all of their models I've seen run $50 to $100. More than I care to spend on a light I've heard nothing about...
  3. So, not on trampolines?
  4. Bronk, you were quiet for a while today. Did you go get some trigger time in??
  5. Welcome!!
  6. Welcome!!
  7. I appreciate the help guys. I wish I was in a better situation to contribute more towards my retirement, but I have some bills I need to get gone first. Thanks.
  8. Ok, I just did a little checking and I should have said the low $700 range for a new one. $500 to $600 range for a used one. It's been a while since I've bought a radio. There are a lot of deals on eBay on used ones. The original Icom 706 can be snagged for under $500 and has all the bells and whistles except for the 70cm band (if memory serves correctly). The 706mkII incorporated the 70cm band.
  9. Well, in my opinion, I would avoid it. You're still limited to FM on the 6m / 10m bands. I would either spring for something like an Icom 706 or Yaesu FT-857D so you can work any mode on any band. If those were above my price range, I would just get a decent 2m or dual band mobile and save up until I could get one of the others. You're not likely to feel like you got your money's worth if you spend $400 plus on a rig that'll only let you play with FM when you can find better radios that do a lot more in the $600 range.
  10. So, if I understand correctly, it would be taxed when I open the Roth IRA?
  11. I swore off Dell years ago after receiving the not-so-helpful "assistance" of "Bill, George, and Bob" in Pakistan. Of course, now a days, that's probably all you'll get from any company's tech support.
  12. :woohoo: Congratulations!!
  13. Cool. Thanks
  14. +1!! Thank you to all the veterans and those currently serving!
  15. What format do you use when texting them? Just "McDonalds Main Street Memphis TN" or do you actually type out "I need the phone number for McDonalds on Main Street in Memphis, TN"?
  16. Welcome to TGO!!!
  17. I, too, could care less about meeting him. But it would be pretty fun to shoot a TV...
  18. They're hoping JeffsSig swings by. They heard he'd pay $20 per box!
  19. Haha, Joe. We're in a country that says we have to provide prisoners with cable TV. Cut off hands? It'd never happen. But if I had to choose between an extreme system that cut off hands for stealing and the system we now have where almost every criminal caught is put back on the streets in a matter of hours to repeat the offenses, I'd have a tough time deciding.
  20. Were you watching WREG? They referred to "tea cup sized" and "pinball sized" hail. WTH? What happened to the good ole coins, fruit, and sports ball sizes???
  21. Yessir. Very much so!
  22. Wow. I'm not even a camera guy, but looking at that link made me want to go buy a one of 'em. Dang good pictures!
  23. Got a good bit of it here.
