  1. Will do
  2. It was on their website. Then when I went to go order they are back up to $79, literally 5 minutes later. Guess I will have to wait for them to run the sale again.
  3. At $49 each, I figure I'll get a few just to put in the safe and designate 1 for a SBR project I've been wanting to do.
  4. There are 4 of us looking to get 4 or 5 each. I will have to go by there and talk to them. That sounds like a helluva deal.
  5. So a few friends of mine and myself are looking to purchase a bunch of lowers from Palmetto state. However because of FFL transfer fees it makes it less interesting. Is it customary for FFL holders to charge per lower? In our case best we have found is $20 per.
  6. With AK's still readily available for $450 or less I can't justify buying an upper for the cost of an entire rifle. I don't own an AK but do have a few AR's. I too considered the upper but decided I will just buy an AK. I'll use the money I save to buy 1000 rounds of ammo.
  7. T'>Buy Gun Accessories, Hi-Capacity Mags, Scopes, Gun Parts & More at CDNN Sports, Inc.hese are the mags I have
  8. Say a major catastrophy hits, a bomb, emp, large meteor, or whatever. Assuming it doesn't directly hit where you are how long do you think it will take for the chaos to start? Do you make a fall back plan before you travel with "worse case scenario" in mind? My thinking is that a large amount of the population will attempt to go about business as usual. My worry with traveling so much for work is that if something does happen I will be too far away to get back quickly and get to my family and gear. Depending on where I am going and how I get there I keep moderate supplies with me but always wonder in the back of my head if I could do more. Lately been thinking about keeping a cheap 22 and a box of ammo in the trunk with my other JIC's (water, pancho, tarp, bag, etc). What are your thoughts?
  9. Didn't know it was possible with welded floor plates. Just read a how to so I will try that and see.
  10. Ok so I bought a 1911 a while back and ordered a few mags from cdnn, 2 7rnd, 2 8rnd, and 2 10 rnd. The 7's and 10's work great but the 8's nose dive into the feedramp and are a bitch to insert with the slide closed, ie 1 in the chamber. All the mags are the same manufacturer but it looks like the followers on the 8's are different. Anyone have any thoughts other than toss them and try a different brand?
  11. second that. I have the m3 on my plum crazy and would get another today if I had the need.
  12. I did mine with the replacement rear sight mount and a long eye relief scope. Also put mine on an ATI stock. I really like it and is far more accurate than I am. Haven't shot it out past about 150 but I do like it. I am considering doing another the same way and shortening the barrel.
  13. I've got a few thousand rounds of .223 and 22lr through mine (jse upper cmmg conversion when using 2l2r) 6 months in and I still love mine. For the money it can't be beat. Trigger is crisp with no creep. Once I get some spare cash I'm gonna get a few more. Put another together and just put the others away for later.
  14. Mine is about the same. So light I shoot it more often. I love mine and plan on getting a few more.
  15. If you want a cheap one to try get this. 45 DEGREE ANGLE OFFSET PICATINNY RAIL MOUNT | eBay Then if it works like you hope spend the money and get a better quality. I have considered one of these as well but it is because of my left eye dominance.

    Lightweight AR

I bought a complete upper from JSE, had it in 2 days and the price was impossible to beat. I've put 3000 plus 22lr plus another 2k of 223 through mine, also on a plum crazy lower. I absolutely love mine. It is my favorite AR to shoot. I like it so much I'm gonna sell my other 2 complete lowers and get me a couple more of the plum crazy's

    PLUM CRAZY

The armory in Lebanon had some at a couple of shows a couple of months ago.
  18. If you do the plum crazy it won't matter what barrel profile you chose. My PC build is super light even with the M3 red dot and magpul flip ups. It is by far my favorite AR.
  19. Glad you got it figured out. Just out of curiosity what press are you using?
  20. Watching this to see the outcome. I am just about ready to start lading 45. I have done some dry runs with no primers and no powder using a lee pro 1000 and mine seem to be crimping fine.
  21. Mine is a S&W sigma 40V 98 limited. Still own it and now letting my dad use it as his daily carry piece.

    Ar 15 Optics?

I have a vortex and can attest to the quality. While a lot of people prefer the 1/3 cowitness I actually prefer mine standard. With a flip down rear and a standard f front I can easily check that my scope is still zeroed.
  23. Metro Arms are made in the Philippines if I'm not mistaken
  24. Is that the american classic or american classic II? I have been looking for a good priced classic II for a while. For the money they are very nice weapons.
  25. Been trying to find a reasonably priced crimp for a while. I've been reading where people are using very small amounts of cotton.
