  1. I put a few hundred more rounds through my M&P22 today. I also have a mark 1 but if you are wanting to use it as a training tool the M&P is hands down the winner.
  2. Get a m&p 22 you won't look back. I picked one up a couple weeks ago and it is awesome. A friend got one the same day and is now selling his walther p22. I used bulk blazer and wally world federal and about 500 rounds between the 2 with no hiccups.
  3. SD9 and SD40 aren't dropped. I was told it is one of their biggest sellers.
  4. I've got a mark 1 but because of the janky mag release it doesn't do well for 22 matches like I just went to. Shoots fine just way to long to swap mags.
  5. Really want a M&P 22 because the 12+1 but what others are worth looking at with standard thumb mag release?
  6. You won't be sorry. Just save and buy a used compact. It's always nice to have both.
  7. The smith and wesson is a fine shooter. The ruger Mark anything is an investment though. Prices keep climbing and will only get higher, regardless of condition as long as it shoots it's still holding value.
  8. You will be sad when the m&p is gone. I sold my 40c and and picked up a 23. Wish I would have kept the 40c. Nothing against the glock it just doesn't feel as good as the M&P and it took changing a few parts to make the trigger half as good as my M&P was.
  9. I pm'd mike a few weeks ago and no response.
  10. Want to go to the cannery and was told you have to be escorted by a member. A couple of friends and myself want to start our Long term storage. Anyone willing to help us?
  11. I have one. Mine is tight as hell and you never worry about a ball rolling out, It is a lot of fun. The hardest part is trying to find blanks.
  12. Metro Arms all the way. My brother has the American Classic 2 and it is flawless. I have the Amigo compact and it too is a sweet and accurate shooter. Doesn't like cheap mags but what 1911 does?
  13. I'd put it up to a glock any day. The Sigma I have has put plenty down range. The bigger issue is glock snobs and their need for stronger trigger fingers. People can complain about the trigger all they want but if you can shoot a sigma well you can shoot anything well. The SD is an exceptional weapon with loads to offer in the price point. Is it a M&P? Nope. Is it a sigma? Nope. Anyone close by who wants to meet to put some ammo through either one let me know. I'll bring my M&P and Sigma as well for comparison.
  14. The SD is phenominal. I have the 9 and the 40. Longer pull and less definitive reset but fine shooting guns. Standard front night sight. It is very much a blend between the M&P and the sigma. The Apex kit is very inexpensive and makes a noticeable difference.
  15. I'm considering getting the crimson trace grips for it down the road. The grips look great but are a little thick for me..
  16. My only small issue is that after 100 rounds the guide rod bushing is a bear to get out and in. I think polishing it will fix the issue and I will pick up a spare just to have but at 60 yards I was hitting a silhouette target consistently. Would have moved closer but was too lazy to walk up and down the hill.
  17. Looking for some powder for loading 45acp. I've been using titegroup but my powder thrower has a hard time doing small amounts. I've been loading 3.9 grains with 230gr jhp. Problem is it is almost impossible to throw it that small consistent. Looking for something that fills the case more so visual will be easier. Any suggestions?
  18. Shoots as good as it looks. Fed it some of my garbage 45 reloads and it fed no problems. Put 100 rounds or so through it for break in and I really like it.
  19. We are doing our first survival hike tomorrow and I plan on running a box of ammo through it then. I will post some follow up then.
  20. Followed me home from the fun store the other day. Been looking at RIA compacts but the fit and finish on this is much nicer. Looking forward to taking it out tomorrow. Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  21. I have 3 of the strikefires. For the money they can't be beat. My other red dots are Primary Arms micro's and m3
  22. The sigma is a decent gun. I have an older version that has been good for several thousand rounds. I also have both the SD40 as well as the SD9. It is a much better design. Really has limited similarities when you look at the true mechanics. Put a Apex kit in them and they are even sweeter. The p95 is a boat anchor. I have not shot the sig but have held it and played with it. Only drawback is it's kinda bulky wen compared to the sleek presence of the SD.
  23. I'm picking up 8 lowers on Tuesday. Picked up 6 a few months ago. There were no problems and the were all done as other. some have become pistols, some rifles and some still sitting but when they are cheap I get a few to hang onto in case people get crazy next year at the election. If so my $49 lowers will become $149 lowers available.
  24. I've got a cold steel kukri that has been used and abused. It's time for a decent sharpening. Is there a special way to do it?
  25. cdnn, for mags. I've got the glock version in 40. Will probably get another in 9mm at some point. It's fun I'm just not a big fan of the sights. Going to mount a red dot with a qd on mine. Have the red dot just haven't gotten the right qd yet
