  1. Not true, implants can and do fail. If you have periodontal disease you have to treat the implants just like natural teeth. You can get abscessed implants. Good luck getting one out.
  2. I work at a dentist office and my dentist is in my prepper group. First thing I do in any instance is clean out the office. I could jerry rig a regulator to run an air drill
  3. I got this for Christmas and it's a beast.   http://www.estwing.com/ao_black_eagle_tomahawk_black.php   Love it. The best Christmas present I think I've ever gotten.
  4. $300 at aldi's will get your family of 4 fed for a month on canned goods. Not eating well but fed. They're spam is good and their roast beef with gravy over some white rice is killer.
  5. O won the popular vote by 2 and a half million
  6. I have 2 plum crazy lowers and they are fantastic. I have several other lowers as well but the poly balances out really well. Great crisp clean triggers too

Damn gun shop, went in today and they still had a few, picked up the carbine and another c9. Also put a used pf9 on layaway. I have to stop going in to the gun store.
  9. Music city pawn in Franklin is pretty good, done about 15 lowers through them.

    So I did it.

Yeah I'm going by there Saturday if they still have the carbine I'm going to pick it up.

Will it be my go to gun, nope. Will it be the one in the boat or on the 4 wheeler? yup. It's $100. I've blown that on a bad date and didn't get anywhere near as much fun.

    So I did it.

I picked up a hi-point c9 for a bill at the local gun store. It's rough and ugly and when in doubt could be used as boat anchor but I had been wanting one to beat up on. So I took it out today. Grabbed a handful of some starfire and box of federal fmj. Put the target out at 7 yards and was shooting a 8.5 x 11 that I printed. Ended up shooting 74 total and not one hiccup. Shot amazingly well. The back sight is jacked up, it looks like it was run over, there are some rusted parts and some big scratches but it still shoots. I plan on beating the hell out of this thing but after round one all I can think of is I want the carbine now. Decisions decisions.
  13. Have one in my BOB and 1 in my get home bag. For $15 if nothing else it will make a great skinner.
  14. http://www.gearhog.com/?did=15977 I bought 2 of these last time they ran this deal. Very nice light. I use AA's because of the price of 123's. Works well even with dollar tree sunbeam batteries.
  15. USADA is not a government agency, it's a non profit that thinks it's a government agency. A Any time you are guilty until proven innocent I have a problem. From what I read only 2 people out of 500 or something rediculous like that came out of arbitration found innocent. So why would you hassle with it. In the end he was the best in the world at a sport 99% of the people could care less about.
  16. Or that his wife is the one that left because she couldn't deal with his success and the pressure it caused. There are plenty of articles that talk about why she left him.
  17. http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/forums/posts.aspx?postID=31229 Check this, that could be fun

    AR FSB

I don't even notice my front sight with my red dots. Absolute cowitness made sighting my magpul rear flip up easier too
  19. I know it has no cross bolt safety. I actually went and shot it today for ####s and giggles. Shot well liked it but just seems to nice to beat up.
  20. Bought this off my brother, he got it from a guy who was really hard up for money. I got it for what I believe is a good price. My deal is it looks like its never been fired. It looks damn near brand new. Is this something that will go up in value or do I take it out and use it? I always wanted a lever action and this was a good price but what I wanted it for was to throw in the back of my rhino and leave it. If me or anyone else comes up on some coyotes while out on the farm then it there. But that use will beat the hell out of it. So is it worth leaving it be or is this never really going to be anything worth anything. I've seen a couple on gun broker from $275 to as high as $400 sell. Mine looks better than any of them I've seen but I have a lot less into it. What would you do?
  21. Mine is on there but neither of my brothers or my father are on there.
  22. The new SD9VE and SD40VE will be a better choice. For a few dollars more you get a standard rail, and a little better trigger. I have an original sigma 40V, a SD9 and a SD40. All of my smiths have been fine weapons. Had a M&P 40c but let it go because it was hard to justify keeping when I carried the SD40 more
  23. For an actual backpack made for a laptop you will have a hard time finding one better than a swiss army laptop backpack. I've had mine 10 plus years and put it through hell.

    Cheap 380

ehh it's still a taurus. I'd pay a little more and get a p3at from cdnn
  25. I've gotten a couple of ok deals there and 1 good deal. They have changed staff several times and I really only see one familiar face. I went in yesterday looking for a pf9, he tried to steer me to something he had in stock. When I told him I wasn't interested he tried to down my decision. It's not a bad shop but the staffing can be hit and miss
