  1. :rolleyes:That was not VERY NICE!!!!! How are we suppose to compete with that. When I saw the thread I thought great I can take pics of all three deer I have hanging. That is VERY AWESOME
  2. I like them on the front of my CC. We will shoot silhouette targets that are black. I have a hard time finding my target kill zone without them, especially when moving fast. I can see that being a problem if I need to shoot fast at night. So I like them, and the older I get the more I like them

    1911? :)

It amazes me at how personal and pi**ed people get over guns. Most people have guns because they love to shoot. I now have several 1911's . Springfield 1911-A1 and RIA. Both gun work great and for what I do, (every other weekend fun shooting) the RIA dead on and can run any thing I put thru it. Granted if I were to go IDPA I might step up to a custom build. But you need to walk before running. If this is your first get a RIA my 2cents And BTW make mine J&C

I got the LCP just for motorcycle rides but like it so much it stays with me all the time.
  11. Sat evening, just finished cleaning my newest deer rifle. This Mossberg is a great shooting gun. after a few shots to get use to te trigger and fine tune the scope I did a 3 shot group with all touching and 5/8 inch spread. went out to 200yrds and 3 shot about an inch spread. not bad for shelf ammo and the first time out.
  12. Good Evening Gents, I have a friend that is money trouble and wanting to sell me a Mossberg 308. I like the way the gun looks and plan on shooting it Saturday just wondering if anyone has any history with this model. Its topped with a BSA 8x32x40.
  13. OK ; my mind is about to melt, help me if ya can. Trying to build a needle threading load for a 270 wsm, here is what I know for sure. Im a fairly good shot and can hold sub 1.0 mao groups, 5 rounds of federal Power-Shok at both 100 and 200 yrds Ruger m77 magna ported aluminum pillared and glass beaded 2.385 AOL w/comp. Using Nosler 130gr ballistic tip with IMR 4350-Most reports says this is the best combination Max load 62.7 grns 4350 I have tried 60.0, 60.5, 61.0, 61.5, 62.0, 62.5 and the best I can do is 2in moa at 100yrds I also allow 1 min in between shots and 5min in between loads to let my gun cool NOT HAPPY I do not want to mess my gun up. $50 a box for stock loads is too much for me as much as I love to shoot. Now what I have heard,...... don't listen to the book it is conservative, load powder until it touches seated bullet measure the powder and start there working down...... that would be 63.9grns Which way should I go with my loads Any help would be AWESOME Thanks Gents In Advance

    Auction prices

I have not purchase a gun thru a auction like that.......do they do back ground check. if not that may be why they go so high. Sounds like I need to have an auction
  20. I hate it when COMPLAINS about being skinny. try being fat and no butt.............nothing to hold your pants or your gun up:rolleyes:

  23. How true but not everyone can afford to drive a cadillac. That is why they make ford and chevy. I have been looking for about 6 mths and been checking all the posts on 1911's. I have been saving my pennies and plan on buying a Springfield 1911 GI compact. only a couple dollars more then RAI and customer service that cant be beat.
