    Huglu Yes or No

Good Evening Gentleman ; I am looking for information on a good shotgun. I have in the past shot a lot of sporting clay, and I am looking on getting back into the Shot Gun market. I am not able to step up to Citori at this time and have looked at other O/U 20ga. One that has caught my attention is the Huglu which I guess is the same as the CZ which is the American version. Does anyone have any experience with this gun. I have read a lot about it but I am looking for true experience and opinions . Thank You Gentleman in advance. BJB
  4. Is it a long or short action? If you have a .223, .243, 6mm, .257, .308 or similar length cartridge you most likely have a short action. Conversely, the .25-06, .270, .280, .30-06, 7mm Mag, .300 Mag, .300 RUM, 8mm Mag, .338 Mag, .375 H&H or similar you may have a Long Action rifle I pulled this off Stockys>>>>>Stocky's New Rifle Stocks - America's Gunstock Specialist! This is where I get all my stocks. Hope this helps. BJB

    Range Report Sig 522

  6. Hey Guys; This summer has proven to be very challenging, going from just my wife and I and our once empty nest to adopting as awesome 13yo boy, along with some medical problems has all but kicked my butt. It has been 12 weeks since my a** has been on my Harley and 13 weeks since I have been to Norris to shoot. Both of Which are atypical. Last weekend I walked around the Knoxville gun show and fell in love with the looks weight and ,feel of the Sig 522. Coupled with the desire to find something cheaper to shoot I purchased one. Sunday my kids came to visit and we did an all day at Norris. 8 guns, from a Custom Bench rest gun to my Sig P225 and over 1500 rounds of ammo. We had a blast. The gun that got the most use and was the hot gun all day was the Sig 522. Wanting to get rid of some old 22 ammo that my father had in a cigar box I broke the sig in with about 200 rounds of mixed old stuff. I had 2 shell the jammed on the loading ramp with in the first 25 rounds hen after that not a single FTF or FTE. I ran every thing from Remington, Winchester, Federal and the unknown in the cigar box thru the gun. And after setting the sights was busting clay pigeons at 100 yrds. Consistently. So for all those '' which one should I get†Right here it is. (stock picture) I tried to load pics from the range but they are off my cell phone and for some reason cant get them to load to photo bucket.
  7. WOW...........Hard to believe all this started because durtyzulu was excited about getting his first Custom 1911. Way to go Friend, Cant wait to see Pics and heear a range report. 11. As dangerous as wild hogs can be...........If one starts toward my family I will not hesitate stopping them. I like many other have and will carry at times when I/they are not suppose to ie state parks. I CC all the time and you would be hard pressed to see it. I also realize that there are times when I could get in some heat over this. I hunt hogs with bow every year, 2 yrs ago after sticking one that ran only about 40yrds I had 3 turn on me and with no place to go I stopped the first with one shot from a 38 at about 5 feet. He flipped and brushed my leg when he fell. VERY LUCKY SHOT but effective. Bottom line I will protect my family and myself and hope for the best when the chips fall.Just my

    What Would You Do

Thanks Alot! I think its going to be a real good thing. he is a great kid. Been studing up on the 260 (6.5) and the more I see the more I like.
  14. I need some help for a near future build. What I have is a Remington 700 in 260cal. Stock gun. I also have a 13yo boy that my wife and I just adopted. I took him to watch my (other) son in a bench rest competition and my 13yo fell in love. On the next shoot we let him shoot a stock Rem 700 243 and he took 3rd place in the stock level at 100yrds....... Now that is all I hear. I do not want to mess with his 243 as he will need it to hunt this year. SO........SUGESTIONS PLEASE. What caliber would you build on, I know I want a heavy barrel and competition stock and know what I am going with. just torn between several calibers. I almost want to stick with the 260 caliber but he was rally sore after shooting 100 rounds in his stock gun so I want something that would be fun for him but yet accurate at 100 and 200 yards. whats your ideas. Thanks in advance Guys. bjb

  19. Being a Paramedic/ER Nurse for 22 years we did a lot of studying on ballistics and how it effects the body. Never really talked much about it past a 45 cal. For this very reason. Whats funny (in a strange way) is that a 25 or 22 short can do more unseen damage than any other caliber. Awesome video, Thanks for sharing
