  1. Hey welcome im in the polk/cleveland area, im 17 now but i plan on joining the USAF myself after college, any tips?
  2. Hell they were being honest, i think they should be let off for how honest they were to the cops i mean hell if i were the cop i would be glad to know that man was honest to me and even told me he had a gun on him.
  3. If you seriously think you will need your weapons to fend off your government and put them back in their place then today's society will see you as a nut job, funny enough the founding fathers we praise did that exact thing under circumstances that are eerily similar to what we are experiencing today. "If someone is so fearful, that they are going to start using their weapons to protect their rights, it makes me very nervous that these people have these weapons at all!" - Representative Henry A. Waxman (D - CA) "When the government fears the people, there is liberty. When people fear the government, there is tyranny." - Thomas Jefferson
  4. Hi all I'm just wondering what they are like here, i have never been to a gun show but i have read some bad things, one of the things that seems to pop up a lot is over pricing items like Tokarevs/CZ 52s/Mosins, not just kinda pricey but like $200+ for a nothing special Mosin Nagant which to me seems insane. Also are there age restrictions at shows? I'm 17 and of course i cannot buy firearms on my own i must have my father accompany me but can i just go there and stroll around to look at what they have? Can't wait for the next gun show in the Polk/Cleveland area, hopefully i can find a good deal or two.
  5. Hm interesting, any markings on/in it, sometimes aging can cause markings to be very faint so check with a flashlight and look very closely. Whats the history behind it, family heirloom? Oh and also i forgot to add, the painting appears to be Japanese in origin from what i can tell the picture shows a small house by a lake with a mounting looming in the background and a boat on the lake.
  6. Im still not sure how this works, but i have an Uncle mikes Sidekick holster Size 5 I need a large holster for my charter arms explorer II that can hold an 8 inch barrel, maybe like a large revolver holster.
  7. Whats up im Jon, i live in the Cleveland area as well. Got any guns yet?
  8. Eh im not a big fan of those guys in the first place.
  9. Yeah i got the schematic off of Numrich, i was going to have a gunsmith look at it and then i would fix it but the guy i called wanted $50 just to take a look at it no fix included, and i don't have money to throw around on something i could learn to do myself. I have taken the bolt out and looked it over and it matches the schematic part for part, now my uncle did take this shotgun apart once trying to mess with it and most likely lost the part i need cause he did loose the magazine spring and follower.
  10. Alright so i have a Smith&Weson model 916A 12Ga pump, it has a 28 inch barrel and a 5 round mag tube. I got this gun from my grandfather a few months ago and just recently started trying to fix it, it appears to be missing the magazine tube spring and follower but i can replace those easily, the problem i can't fix is what i am coming to you for. For some reason the when i move the pump back and forth it doesn't move the bolt at all, the bolt will move if you use your fingers to push it back and forth so i think the part that catches the arm on the pump is missing inside the shotgun. everything else inside the gun is still working fine but i just need to know what part it is that catches the arm on the pump and then moves the bolt if that makes any since. Any help is appreciated and if you need some pictures of the shotgun inside or out i can do that, I'm not very knowledgeable about pump shotguns and this the first one i have owned. This is exactly like mine but it isn't mine Heres a schematic of its insides
  11. Hey all, my names Jon and i live in the Cleveland/Benton/Ocoee area, literally I'm like right in the middle of them. I'm young so my collection is small but its growing as fast as i can get money. Currently i own 6 firearms pictured here, just missing my revolver. From top to bottom CVA Bobcat .50 caliber. Charter Arms Explorer II .22lr pistol, it looks a whole lot like a C96 Mauser if you ask me. A hand-cannon (as i call it) my grandfather gave me, i know nothing about this gun but he told me the barrel and most of the parts are original. My Marlin 81DL .22 bolt action rifle, its fun to shoot but i need some peep sites or a cheap scope cause the irons aren't doin it for me. Last and least my S&W 916A 12Ga pump, my grandfather payed me this for some work i did and it is broken, its something internal cause when i pump it the bolt doesn't move, its like the part that catches the arm on the pump is missing cause the bolt doesn't move at all even though the pump moves freely. Any help with what could be wrong with this gun would be greatly appreciated, i can post more pics of inside and out if needed. Oh and i better not forget my revolver, its a NEF R92 9 shot .22 i picked up from Silvers firearms in Old Fort TN, currently fitting a new 4 inch barrel to it cause the 2.5 inch wasn't doing it for me so thats why its not in the picture. Sorry if i rambled on a bit, thanks for having me.
