Yea, just saw that too. I think Coal Creek Armory is way closer to you, and it sounds like he has a pretty friendly bucnh of new guys hired on now. http://www.coalcreekarmory.com/
  2. Sux dude. Sorry about that. I once had my CD case stolen... that cost me about $900 (mid 90s, before burning CDs and dumping them all on your computer) Not that that helps... just sayin'.....

M&P9c. Call Joe @ HeroGear, he just got a butt-ton of them in stock. http://www.smith-wesson.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=10001&productId=51901&langId=-1&isFirearm=Y Should be just under or at the $500 mark brand new.
  4. Freakin' sweet! I envy you, Joe. Ugh.... I've been debating with myself to ask if you would consider a trade on that 17, but who am I kidding? I can't let go of any of my babies!
  5. A DS was supposed to be my first wheelgun, but somebody with more money than me ended up getting it. Show me that 66 and 17!
  6. A DOUBLE decker?! What is that one? Pooping in the tank of TWO toilets? I dunno if I'd have the reserves on hand to pull something like that off! On a more serious note... I'm at least glad to hear a somewhat nicer report of the store.

Ditto what Pie said. HP38/W231 also works well in the plinking loads, and does mid-range magnum loads well, too.
  8. Sorry guys, dude only had 3.

    I felt bad...

I didn't notice about the bands. I'm not an expert on many things, so They probably could have been missing and I might not have noticed!

I fondled that gun at Joe's shop a few months back. Would have loved to take it home with me! Good buy, dude. Tell us how it shoots!
  11. Thanks for the kind words guys! Straw sales are definitely a no-no, but getting together buyers and sellers who otherwise wouldn't have met is just fine, AFAIK.
  12. Good info. I'm tagging this so I can come back to it and make the calls.
  13. Can't he just be an idiot scumbag who got in the paper? Why try to make distinctions?
  14. Not accurate as of 2.5yrs ago either. I hate that this is even around, but I'm glad it doesn't seem to work!
  15. Dude, that can't be your kid.... she's adorable!
  16. Couldn't he be dropping more than 1 gear in each shift?
  17. No video proof! Either post a vid, or take me for a spin!
  18. But what about Glock "perfection"?
  19. I've heard about this video forever, but never actually saw it until I saw this on another forum today. Subject: Paris in a 275 GTB On an August morning in 1978, French filmmaker Claude Lelouch mounted a gyro-stabilized camera to the bumper of a Ferrari 275 GTB and had a friend, a professional Formula 1 racer, drive at breakneck speed through the heart of Paris. The film was limited for technical reasons to 10 minutes; the course was from Porte Dauphine, through the Louvre, to the Basilica of Sacre Coeur. No streets were closed, for Lelouch was unable to obtain a permit. The driver completed the course in about 9 minutes, reaching nearly 140 MPH in some stretches. The footage reveals him running real red lights, nearly hitting real pedestrians, and driving the wrong way up real one-way streets. Upon showing the film in public for the first time, Lelouch was arrested. He has never revealed the identity of the driver, and the film went underground until a DVD release a few years ago. http://www.vimeo.com/1101437 So Joe, when are we gunna see your video of you tearing it up around downtown Winchester?
  20. From what my plumber buddy tells me, the electric ones are worthless... you gotta get one that's rated WAAAYYYY over what you actually need, but he says the gas ones are great. Ask your buddies if any of them know a plumber they trust, and get his number. I've got one who is awesome. He's done work for me, my church, and most of my friends. Unfortunately, he's just outside Nashville and probably won't drive all the way out to Knoxville. Let me know if you want his number anyway. He probably wouldn't mind at least talking to you about it.
  21. Yep, they called it the "DX4" on CSI Miami.
  22. HEY!! ... just make sure I've wiped first... otherwise your shoe may get dirty.
  23. Dude that's freakin' awesome. Did you just find that some where, or did you make that yourself?
  24. Too late!
