  1. Very cool! I've been thinking more and more that after adding a couple other Smiths to my collection, I'll probably start work on a family of CZs. That think looks tough!
  2. Four M&P pistols here. Maybe 6-7k through them in total. No issues as of yet.
  3. Growing up in Miami (and eating their food and drinking their coffee) I've always been interested in US/Cuba history and diplomatic relations. Though I'm a bit soured that a Cuban immigrant my father took pity on and helped become a citizen and employed for 17yrs embezzled $2 million from my parents, effectively shuttering a 103 year old family business and decimating their retirement plans. Not to mention years of fraudulent tax filings leaving my parents $900k in debt to the IRS. Her punishment? A $30k dollar civil penalty made payable to my parents. No jail time or probation. I'm not bitter. Sorry... that's still a rough subject for me. I love the Cuban culture, music, and food, but now I can't help but feel a little sting as I think of those events. Sorry... shutting up now.
  4. I shoot it all the time. Just fine for blasting away, and a good deal there. I bought a bunch from PSA when it was $7/box plus shipping.
  5. Ohmanohmanohman!! I'm stoked about both of these! The stunner for me is how mean that curved blade looks. I love my tantos, but wow that stubby two tone is TOUGH! So glad I'm getting both! Thanks Willis!
  6. I'd like to see if it'll print in an IWB, lol! Glad it's working well for you, super cool gun.
  7. I think you just found yourself a new market... the ammo can ammo can!
  8. I dunno man... I think you may throw your back out carrying that monster around. Better scale back to a nice katana or something at least a little more reasonable. ;-)
  9. That's not what they meant when they said some rounds "cooked off." :-D
  10. Super awesome!! Congrats... again! Haha! :-)
  11. Oy! I can't... not til I replenish the funds from my last EBR purchase... must... resist!
  12. I've been happy with their 9 and 40 bullets and go through a lot of them. However, their 158gr 38 bullet keyholes out of my guns regardless of being a light or heavy load. Weird. I've had keyholes with other bullets on super light loads, but never at standard 38 or +p velocities, and never as a magnum but these do it no matter what, out of a Smith 64 and 19, as well as a Marlin 1894. :/
  13. I'm a huge M&P fan... have 5 now. But that's terribly ugly. I'm already very disappointed in S&Ws lame rehash of the M&P Pro, and this is just more stupidity, imho. Though I think the "grip zone" is stupid on the new XDs, at least Springfield made significant styling changes to the gun. Smith seems to basically be adding paint and hoping that will boost sales. Thumbs down, imho. Guess it works for Ruger (and the 87 shades of LCP) but I still don't like it.
  14. Just a few hundred. Thousand. Pricing is generally a little higher than the online shops... but the online shops don't let play with with literally hundreds of thousands of knives before you buy! :-) I went and played with some ProTechs there before our first TGO knife came in. They have plenty of Benchmades and all the others as well.
  15. Wow. That's a configuration I've never even dreamed of... wonder what the ballistic information looks like for the 7.62x25 with those extra few inches of barrel length. Definitely not a gun for me, but interesting nonetheless.
  16. Congrats! Nuthin' like goin' for a two-fer!
  17. Wow! Two tone FTW!! Can't wait for the Runt!
  18. And 1 to 4 cents a round over 50 years is a 400% increase. Just an observation of the observation.
  19. Great thread. I'm just as happy to hear about your dedication to your customers as I am to hear about your boss listening to you and entertaining the idea of making some changes based on your input. In the days of corporate-everything, that seems an antiquated idea... listening, that is. Good work!
  20. Nope, make your claim! We have the choice of a Tanto or regular blade as well.
  21. Nah, she's 300 miles away. We're good! ;-)
  22. Wow!!! Great stuff everyone's received! This forum's members are too awesome.
  23. I prefer the Brend, out of those two choices. Whether I'm in will depend on final price and how much play money I have in 6 months :-)
  24. There is a high statistical probability that may happen. ;-)
