Cool! I guess you could call mine a "bulk purchase" as well. Bought a couple guns at once that day, lol! I actually wanted it, though. :-)

Not that I've even hunted with it yet, but my first and only "deer rifle" is a .270. Every time I see a discussion or chart about it, I'm very happy that I chose a great caliber pretty much by dumb luck. Some day I hope to actually get to use it!

Words to live by from a wise, wise man.

Great deal on some of my fav AR mags... as low as $9ea, free shipping.

Oh, so it's a 50 cal case with a foam insert for mags. Um. Meh. I feel like that's a lot of wasted space in there. I'm not worried about mags moving a little in storage. -

Never heard of the mag carriers. I'll check them out. -
That's great info, thanks! The in-laws have a recreational farm about an hour away and we were planning on staying there for the show. However, they just sold the doublewide on the property to make room for a huge house/bunker they're just starting to build. :/ There goes my free lodging! :-(

Absolutely. We are very fortunate to have some great shops in TN!

I hate to admit it, but I watched AJ every now and then, and I found it less offensive to the intellect than CNN, MSNBC, etc.

As a teen we took a tour of the Louisville Slugger factory while on a family vacation. That was fun, and we got some factory seconds for stupid cheap. Still have one. If it's anything like it was 20 years ago, I highly recommend it for a fun 2 hr excursion.

I just did the free shipping, tracking shows them to be delivered today. -
Yup. In fact the new 5" Pro is ported and already milled for an optic. I still have the old one and love it.

Do you except the promise of a first born child? Gorgeous.

Well, another one in the books! ... er iPad, as the case may be. A good time was had by all. Great to meet some new folks as well, hopefully we'll have a few new TGO members as well. As for my shooting... meh. It was fun, let's leave it at that! Thanks MCTS for your work in putting this on!

Very cool! Great pistol. It was good to see you two the other day. I told Kelley you stopped by. We should all go to dinner and the range one night soon!

Bam! Wish I could have said that earlier! Feel free to fly Jihadi Airways for $19 each way. I'll fly We're Packin' Airways.

I hear what you're saying, but where is the line? Everyone is different, of course. Ben Franklin had a saying about situations like this.

Of course, you would want to clarify with the Bench up front what their transfer fee would cost you. That's paid to them, not the shipper.
-
Most big online shops have popular FFLs on file. The Bench has been around so long I'm sure most retailers have their info. The transaction starts with the online retailer, and you tell them where you want the gun sent. As a courtesy I always call and let my transferring FFL know when a gun is inbound to them on my behalf. It just makes sense to me. To be clear, the retailer shipping the gun out usually doesn't give a flip of you called your local FFL. They have your money and are sending the gun to the dealer listed on the form. That's all they care about.

About 9 years ago they ordered my Marlin 1894 in 357. It showed up when they said and the transaction was perfectly normal. I wouldn't hesitate to do it again. I have been shopping there for 10 years and have been happy with every interaction. They taught me the basics of reloading right there in the store, and never once rushed me or made me feel stupid, even after many opportunities! I wholeheartedly support and recommend them.

That's really nice of you! Hope someone else does something nice for you this week, too. :-)

Thanks! Looking forward to it!

Needs a Butler Creek recoil pad on the stock... be honest, going through a whole 50 rd box of Blazer 22 will leave a nasty bruise on your shoulder if you don't have the proper recoil management equipment in place. We've all been there, right? But seriously, wowzers!

Alright! Ammo made, bag packed. I'm a relative newb, just shot a couple matches. I'm bringing along a buddy who has been shooting for awhile but this is his first IDPA match. Looking forward to it!

I figure you can console yourself with your DWs until the feels go away, lol! Now Praise Gaston and pass the ammo! No seriously, pass the ammo... I don't wanna hafta walk all the way over there.

Nashville area coated or plated bullets?

You took it all! How inconsiderate. :-D
