I really like the look of that! If I can ever get up the scratch to get the M&P40c I want so dearly, I'd really like to bead blast the slide and maybe hard nickle it. Something about that matte silvery look just intrigues me.

Hi Guys, My name is James, and I am an addict.... I've been a regular on the Smith & Wesson forum for a couple years, and just found this board. Cool place!! I'm mostly a wheelgun guy, but have a few evil black guns, too. Weekends usually find me either at On Target in Murfreesboro, or at a friend's place out in the country shootin' stuff up. I'm hoping to start finding a way to begin competitive shooting early next year. I am a CCW licensee and soon to be NRA member. I'm 25, recently married, and own an insurance agency here in Smyrna. Other hobbies/things I do include guitars and basses, outreach ministries at my church, saltwater reef tanks, and sports cars. Thanks for lettin' me join up, and I look forward to meeting some of you!
