Yeah. I was planning on altering the mags as they are dirt cheap. No big deal if I screw it up.

Yep. Aluminum. I need to file down the little tab in the middle but the file I have just can't get that angle.

I got some G3 mags from a website claiming they fit in all Cetme rifles. Well they don't. I know I just need to file down the little tab thingy at the top of the mag, I'm just wondering what a good tool is for this.

A carpool would be a good idea for the Nashville group.

Police: Hug Triggers Officer's Gun, Kills Woman
Ebow1 replied to Curiousgb's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
This is too fishy. I'd love to find out what actually happened. -
I'm not talking about the Walking Dead group facing 28 days later zombies. I'm just talking about if Carl had died in the first episode in general.

You weren't kidding about those pics not being for the faint of heart! I nearly lost my lunch when I saw the last one! I kid, I kid. You had to of known someone was gonna say it. In all seriousness, that's a heck of a cut, good thing it didn't get anything important. Doesn't look like you should need any luck gettin better, should be just fine.

That would have been a good thing for the survival of the group. Especially Dale.

If I could get a ride out there, I'd be more than happy to help. I'm not much when it comes to experience or knowledge with anything hands on (I am working on that) but I've got a no problem being a pack mule. I enjoy some good physical labor every now and then, sometimes I wish technology didn't remove us from it quite so much.

I wonder if he was doing that to try and get a high score.

Allen West: Everyone should buy a Glock...
Ebow1 replied to Steelharp's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I am a huge fan of this plan but would like to propose an alteration. The money taxed from those who do not buy 9mm Glocks, should be given to refund those who use larger, more expensive ammo, such as me and my .45. The cost difference between 9mm and .45 should be refunded to me for every round of .45 I own, and to anyone else owning handgun ammo larger than 9mm. -
I think it would've been more difficult for him to win the Republican primary than to be elected president if he had done so.

I have an ancestor who died at the Battle of Peachtree not far outside Atlanta. One Alexander Wynn. It was pretty tough to figure out exactly which one he was, as there were 3 Alexander Wynns at the Battle of Peachtree in his unit. One of the TN units I can't remember which.

I liked Herman Cain. Sad to see him go from the election.

So my "ball and chain" has the condition Crocodile feet
Ebow1 replied to Dolomite_supafly's topic in General Chat
I wore crocks once, when I had a bad ankle sprain. A buddy of mine had a pair, and yes, they are comfy as hel. They're also ridiculous and I never wore them again. -
Surpressed home defense weapon
Ebow1 replied to Joe86's topic in National Firearms Act (NFA) Regulated
I just wanna say this, if I have to use a firearm in a home defense situation, I want everybody to hear it, and know it. I want it to be my 12 gauge and I want it to wake the neighbors (assuming they're asleep). The first thing I'm doing after a home defense situation is calling the police and reporting the incident. I can understand the hearing protection argument, but the way I see it, is that anything like a silenced weapon or not immediately reporting the incident to police, can be spun as trying to hide the incident, which can be spun as a lack of belief by the homeowner that they were truly justified in using deadly force. I'm not saying it's logical, but we are talking about the media and the courts here. I can easily see some silver tounged attorny asking a homeowner who is on the stand why he/she felt the need to silence their weapon unless they thought they might need to keep the incident from coming to peoples' attention. -
It takes a village to raise a child, but it takes a Viking to raze a village.

AZ Border Patrol Taught "Run and Hide" Tactics
Ebow1 replied to gun sane's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
And I promise that I shall reclaim the border, with the pizza oven of justice at my side, ready to be hurled at any wrongdoer here illegally. -
TSA Agent Spills Cremation Ashes Then Laughs At Passenger

Now that is a case of a human being who needs to be smacked around a bit in public. -
So McDonalds fries are dangerous weapons now.....
Ebow1 replied to jcoosi's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Now wait a minute. I don't recall those french fries having any kind of warning on the box that they could be hot and oily. They should sue McDonalds. -
AZ Border Patrol Taught "Run and Hide" Tactics
Ebow1 replied to gun sane's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
If we are cornered by such a shooter we are to (only as a last resort) become "aggressive" and "throw things" at him or her. Throw things? I'm applying for border patrol right away! -
Man allegedly draws gun on neighbor for passing gas

If people can be shot for farting, I'm going to need to get a will made up. -
I remember somewhere seeing an old quote from an Indian chief when asked about daylight savings time. His reply was that "Only a government would be foolish enough to believe you could make a blanket longer by cutting some of the top and sewing it to the bottom",
