  1. But Nascar is related to fine southern heritage. It originated from moonshiners suping up the cars to outrun the law. And moonshine and bootleggin are most certainly aspects of fine southern heritage.
  2. MAKE IT STOP!
  3. Just got myself the Para that is my avatar, and yes, the upgrade bug is already biting. Mainly in the form of wooden grips.
  4. Yeah, I have no respect for my assistant manager. He's absolutely helpless when left by himself, and very disrespectful to employees. I'm doing everything in my power to accelerate his removal from our store.
  5. Sorry heart, you know what's going to happen. And yes, covering the whole thing in obscene amounts of ranch sauce is necessary.
  6. A firearm is more then just a weapon. It is a machine, a tool, a work of both scientific genius and artistic brilliance. When properly maintained it is a faithful and ever ready companion.
  7. Perp: I warned you for a reason.
  8. If they are training soldiers to deal with civil unrest then they are anticipating civil unrest, or worse, counting on it.
  9. I prefer face to face for any transaction. Ammo, firearms, anything. Lets you know who you're doing business with and gives you the opportunity to properly negotiate (haggle).
  10. Ideas such as respect for animals and nature stem from the beliefs of ancient tribal cultures, such as those of the Native Americans. Anybody have any idea how they fed themselves? They hunted. WITH BOWS.
  11. I've only fed 50 rounds of UMC through mine but I didn't have any problems then.
  12. Just got a Para Hi-Cap LDA not too long ago. 5 inch barrel and I absolutely love it. I think the biggest issue concerning the different barrel lengths is draw time really. Shorter barrel equals faster draw time and can make the difference between life or death. I personally prefer the longer barrel however. I wish I could carry this thing everywhere but unfortunately I'm usually either at work or at school.
  13. The losing side of a war is not the same thing as the wrong side of a war. It is insulting that you would imply that all those who fought for the Confederacy were somehow less intelligent then others simply by being involved in the civil war.
  14. I've got 350 rounds of .380 I need to sell. 250 DRT frangibles and 100 Corbon Powerball. I'm in the West Nashville area if anybody's interested.
  15. Yeah, I flushed everything down the toilet when I was a kid. Even VHS tapes. I also discovered that a quarter is the perfect size to clog a sink drain, and is also very useful for demagnetizing a computer. The bank manager thought I was harmless and let me run around once as an infant. I found the silent alarm and moments later figured out that the button actually had done something.
  16. It won't be for a few weeks, but I'll definately be talking to gunsmiths about this one once I get the shotgun to begin with.
  17. I had no doubt it was possible to have one made. Anything can be made if the materials exist. The legality of it was my biggest question. Good to know I can have this done when the time comes.
  18. Would it be both possible and legal to modify one of those to fit a .410 Saiga, or if not to have one custom made?
  19. Just traded in for a full size Para-Ordnance Hi-Cap LDA 1911 (it's my avatar). I absolutely love it. I'm having a bit of trouble with slide lock reassembly and since I cleaned my magazines aren't ejecting with as much force behind them as they used to. Not sure what I did to cause that but I absolutely love the gun and I'm going to spend all night disassembling and reassembling until I can assess and remedy the problem.
  20. I'm the descendant of a Confederate colonel on my mom's side, haven't gotten around to joining but I know I need to.
  21. I was at Sears Auto center and the tv was set to CNN and this report came on. As the proud descendant of a Confederate colonel I was infuriated by the comment equating Confederates to terrorists, and I couldn't believe the CNN correspondent was sitting there telling people on national television that the main cause of the civil war was the fact that the south refused to give up slavery. I had always heard CNN was far left, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt that what they reported was still some shred of factual news. That footage just goes to show that as soon as white people try to have anything close to a white history month there's going to be a liberal black guy ranting on tv about how we are all a bunch of racists. He was on tv yelling about how the Confederates were terrorists and commited treason. Did they commit treason? Sure, but so did the founding fathers, and every country that revolted against British colonial rule, or colonial rule by any foriegn country WHICH INCLUDES MOST OF AFRICA. Does he have any idea what the word terrorist means? No. The Confederate states said they didn't want to be any part of America. The Union attempted to make them do it with military force and they proudly and honorably defended their rights and their land in open warfare. Terrorists use guerilla tactics in an attempt to intentionally instill a sense of fear within the civilian population.
  22. I would join but I want to save up for a life membership since that is the best deal. The only problem is anytime I save up that amount of money I inevitably spend it on seomthing firearm related. I don't think the NRA can really blame me for that one.
  23. Even if health were an issue I would drink myself to a dehydration oriented early death with a smile on my face if it was Dragonhead Stout.
  24. Dragonhead Stout. Made by the Orkney Island Brewery.
  25. On 440, or just off to the side? For the most you can't get any trouble for dumping something natural that will decompose on it's on. That varies depending on quantity and specific location. All I've kept track of is the fact that I can through my cigar butts wherever I please due to the fact that they are 100% tobacco and you can't litter with a plant. As far as dumping dead chickens directly on 440 goes, I have no doubt you'll get in trouble due simply to the fact that the government pays people to scrape dead animals off the interstate. They will undoubtedly charge if they have to scrape off your dead animals.
