If I didn't drink so much I can think of a few firearms I'd trade one of my kidneys for. I could always offer one of my brothers' kidneys. He doesn't drink as much so he doesn't need both AND it'll be in better condition.

I know of a few people I wouldn't mind sending to the moon now. Although I would mind if they came back.

I know, but it'd still be nice.

As far as carry permits bringing revenue to gun shops go, I think it's safe to say that if the people on this site hadn't've had to take a course, they more then likely would've spent that money on something related to firearms, more then likely at a local gun shop, and more then likely at Guns N Leather specifically.

While working at a Blockbuster in Baton Rouge, LA I was well known amongst the rest of the staff for my, bombs. See our bathroom was tiny, with no ventilation other then a fan you turned off or on. I, being a horrible person, would intentionally leave the door completely shut and the fan off after I was finished, effectively sealing in what remained for the next person to open the door. It got to the point where my store manager threatened to ban me from the bathroom, and the shift lead would not use the bathroom if I was working that shift. Not long after we get a new store manager, hurricane Gustav hits, and knocks out the entire city's power. We get broken into on the first night and it's me and the new SM there with the police the next morning. I go to use the bathroom, and it occurs to me that this is absolutely perfect, as I haven't hit the new SM yet. I drop my load, and naturally the fan was off as we had no power and it was connected to the light in the bathroom. I get back up to the front and I'm practically giddy, cause I know he'll be back there before the day is over. Then something terrible happens. The SM tells me that officer Boyce needs access to a sink, and that I need to go unlock the bathroom for him. I panic. Not only is officer Boyce the BRPD chaplain, but he's also a regular customer and a good man. This bomb was never intended for him either. Luckily I was able to salvage the situation. We had a much larger sink in the stock room and I lead him to that one. Not long after the officers are down investigating the scene my store manager finally says it. Man, I need to go take a leak. Now I wait. I don't watch him walk to the bathroom, just in case that might set off his senses that something terrible awaits him. Then I hear all the way from the other end of the store as loud as he could've possible yelled it "JESUS CHRIST!!". It was glorious. I nearly fell out of my chair laughing as I could tell by his immediate reaction and others afterward that he had been introduced to a level of stench that he had previously never known.

I'd like to clarify that a retrosexual man doesn't wear clothes from hot topic no matter what his age.

I wasn't speaking specifically of how the current administration has ignored the 2nd amendment but the constitution in general with all that garbage that hasn't yet gone into affect. Mandating healthcare and taxing those who don't want it being the biggest one. This administrations actions have shown it has no concern for the constitution in general, so why would they listen to it if they ever did attempt any gun reform?
-
Oh I know that, I'm just saying that whatever is stopping him from abiding by the 2nd amendment, it certainly isn't the constitution.

If making a carry permit more affordable is the issue, I say we get rid of the $115 you have to pay the DMV. You go to the class, bring the paperwork to the DMV, they give you more paperwork to fill out, they charge you $115, and then they give you a list of where you have to go to do the fingerprints. As far as I can see the DMV is getting payed $115 and they're not doing jack----!

The first carry related issue I'd like to see change is campus carry. Start with campus colleges where everybody there except for an extremely tiny minority is 18 or over, and legally adults. Then a bill stating that companies cannot restrict an employees right to carry just because they are on the clock. Being a delivery driver, I would like to have my handgun with me, and I have open carried in my store while off the clock. I would completely ignore company policy and carry anyway except for the fact that the instant a delivery to a school pops up, it becomes a felony. If we can allow campus carry, and then further that to all schools, I'd be carrying at work regardless of policy. A bill forcing them to leave my right to carry alone, would just be icing on the cake. I don't see requiring a permit to be that big of an issue but that's just me. I also see permitless carry to be one massive uphill battle. Now, I like what Louisiana has. Permitless open carry. Buy a handgun, you can carry it, as long as no attempt is made to conceal it and it is visible from 3 points of view. If you want to conceal carry, you can get a permit for that.

I love how the logic Snopes used that guns would never be banned is that it is unconstitutional. This has yet to be any sort of deterrant against the current administration, I don't know why they think it would be now.
-
I don't think it's right to not have to clean your gun yourself, but that's just me. I'm willing to admit I might think differently if I owned a larger multitude of firearms.

To all the men out there deciding between the wife and the dogs, do a simple experiment. Throw your wife, and your dog in the trunk of your car. Open your trunk an hour later. Now, which one is still happy to see you?

Traveler's Insurance lies to the victims of accidents.

I know you weren't trying to rub it in my face, I was merely addressing both posts with one reply. We've got a new store manager at Domino's as well and I wouldn't put it past him to hire a fly to kill a frog if it asked him for the job. He's already hired 4 new unnecessary drivers and he overloads the schedule with drivers. None of us make any money because we hardly take any deliveries, then he gets annoyed because everybody is just standing around and then he complains about overusing labor. Half the store would've left by now if we'd had the option. -
I'd like to get a Taurus PT1911 in 38 super, but it's just not in the budget right now. Or anytime soon for that matter. Unless expenses suddenly plummet, and considering all the times they've risen without warning I think I'm due for it.

Talk about upsetting some girls, my buddy made a comment about quoting Captain Ahab's speech about the white whale when, well, you can figure out the situation in which that would upset girls.

Alright, let's see if this works.

Yes, except more authentically pirate-like. I'm going to take some pictures of the telescope and try uploading them in my next post.

No need to rub my face in it GGP2J7, and Mike, I've beed looking for a better employer for quite some time. I have a very inconvenient school schedule next semester otherwise I would've had a different job before my suspension had ended. -
Riding around town with someone in the truck bed with a Jolly Roger flag like it's a crows nest, looking through the telescope and banging on the hood and yelling things like LAND HO! as we're pulling into parking lots and other such things.

I think I might hang on to it at least for a bit. Me and a buddy have ridiculous plans that involve a truck, a jolly roger flag, and that telescope, among other things.
