Just an old telescope that I have no real knowledge as to its origins. Used to have a brake rotor that fell off a truck while I was drivin' it. Not sure what happened to it. Got a buddy with a German Luger, all matching numbers, taken off a Nazi officer after he was KIA'd.

I don't hunt, but I seem to be seeing deer, and birds of prey such as hawks, in areas that I don't normally see them. I'm seeing young deer walking up and down roads in parts of Bellevue I've never seen them in before. I've grown up in Bellevue my whole life minus 4 years I spent in Baton Rouge, and I spend all day driving around Bellevue. I'm wondering if this is just me or if other people have noticed this too, it's as if the animals are running out of room, and they're having to acclimate to areas more heavily populated with people that they would normally stay away from.

You could just build entrances and exits into mulitple points on the hill. It'd be like having your own foxhole.

I've thought about having an underground hillside house like Tolkien's Hobbits do. Of course I don't have any kind of money to go through with such a thing, yet. But a house within the earth would be much more resilient to natural disasters in general. Of course mudslides would be a larger problem.

I traded in a couple guns and picked up a used P14-45 LDA at GNL awhile back and I love it. I did have to download and print off the manual from their website however. It came with an instructional video instead of printed instructions. On VHS. Now I'm not so young that I don't remember the days of VHS, but I certainly don't have anything anymore capable of playing one. I thought it was funny as all get out that they had a VHS tape with it.

I took a delivery, and they talked about some recent vandalism, and I made the comment that if it had happened to me I'd be outside with a .45. The man asked what I had, and me, not knowing him said, "well, it's called The Judge". Immediately he asked "You have one of those?!", and then we spent the next 45 minutes talking about it, the martial arts he knows, and the machete that I had coming in the mail. One of his ending comments was "well, it's good to know we've got our friendly neighborhood Domino's man out there".

I've thought about the 500 before if I did end up moving to Alaska. Cheaper, yes. More impact, yes. Awe-inspiring, yes, but not as much as a lever action is to me. I think people underestimate the value of having a firearm that's a conversation starter. You get someone who doesn't know anything about guns other then what he/she hears from the liberal media, but they see one you have and just have to ask you about it. The next thing you they think it's really neat and decide to look more into the subject. I've literally spent 45 minutes at a customer's house while out on delivery talking about guns the instant I mentioned that I owned The Judge.

I was really surprised one day in Baton Rouge, LA while driving. Traffic at one intersection was particularly bad even for BR. I get closer to the light and realize that it's because someone's car broke down right in front of the light. I parked my car across the street came back over, and asked him if he needed help. He said AAA was on it's way, but I told him we better move it to the nearby parking lot anyway just so the AAA guy doesn't have to try in hook it up in the middle of a busy crowded intersection. Even when 5 minutes out of their day would've eased traffic for THEMSELVES and practically the entire city, people just sat there in gridlock, probably cursing him under their breath even though he just had a spot of bad luck.

I just now registered. To be honest I don't know what voting district I'm in. I'm in Bellevue about 7 miles from the Davidson/Cheatam border. I had never registered before because I had never had a candidate for president that I really liked, and to be honest I didn't how important local elections were.

Heck of a price tag but it'd also be one heck of a carry setup. Ha ha!

I'm leanin' towards the .44 mag version myself. I think everybody's in agreement that .45 lc is just too hard to find, plus I have possible plans in the future that involve movin' to Alaska and that wouldn't be a bad bear gun in .44 mag I think.

I can't wait till I have the money for a Taurus PT1911 in .38 Super. Maybe if that old telescope I got turns out to be worth a decent amount of money I can sell that and get it.

The only time I didn't help someone with a battery problem is because I was driving my buddy's truck and neither one of use had jumper cables. I keep cables in my vehicle but like I said, it was my buddy's truck.

Yeah, I know, I feel the same way about that, but we'd be getting rid of most of the far leftist loons. I think that's a fair price.

There are good and bad people of every race. I'm truly not trying to brag or look down my nose on anybody, but I've done the exact same thing, and refused payment when the man offered money. I mean, it's just a boost people shouldn't be asking for money for that.
