  1. I liked it better when the plot had him as the real JFK assassin and they tried to kill him but failed and he came after them.
  2. I worked for a call center with LSU, administering state and federal surveys over the phone. I never saw anybody who looked like that. In fact one of the women working in the call center used to be an Olympic runner for one of the carribean island countries, just can't remember which one.
  3. I wonder if we could send that guy to Pamplona and have him chase people.
  4. I've got a couple tattoos and I have plans for more, and one that I have to get because of a lost bet, but I don't understand that.
  5. Pretty much, except it's just one corner of the mat pulled over it, so you can really see the mat sticking up around it.
  6. I'm glad I know my UPS guy doesn't do that. Every time I've had a package waiting for me when I get home it's been placed under the door mat. I always assumed it was an attempt to hide it so that people wouldn't steal it, but it lets me know that he actually placed it and didn't just toss it up there.

I really liked the loaded chamber indicator on the one I used to own.
  8. I'd like to add that I never said I didn't like any particular product unless the customer specifically asked me whether or not I liked it. My bosses would've gotten mad at me for saying I didn't like anything but I'm not going to lie to customers. I'm a good enough salesman that I don't have to.
  9. I'm puttin' that on my joke collection on facebook.
  10. It's not a 1911 but from what I can tell there's not much difference in the internals. The Para Ordnance LDA P-14 is a .45 with a 14 round magazine capacity. As far as I can tell it's the same as a 1911 except for a double stacked mag and the double action trigger. Any full length 1911 holster will fit it just fine. Right now I have an OWB Bianchi that I just love. The handgun flies outta that thing like a bat outta hel. However, I am looking for a shoulder holster system because the beavertail jabs me in my fat when I carry on the hip. My overall carry scheme is to also pick up a Taurus PT1911 in .38 super and carry the 2 of those. With that being said it's not that big of a deal if a holster doesn't work out, I'll just try it out with the Taurus when I finally do get it. I also have plans to pick up the GSG 1911 in .22 lr that everyone's been talking about recently. That way I'll have both my semi-auto carry guns in the 1911 platform (essentially) and a range gun for cheap plinking in the 1911 platform. I'm hoping it will severly reduce difficulty and bad groupings when switching firearms. Once I have that worked out I'll be good on my semi-auto carry guns, but I'll still need a couple revolvers, one for a little pocket gun and I'd like to have a .357 revolver with a 7 round capacity.
  11. If they both say die, and you take one out and eat it, they have to look at the one that is left, if they say that it says die they will come to the conclusion that you ate the one that says live. Perhaps I shouldn't've said that the one you pull out is what happens to you, but that your sentence is decided by the pieces of paper in the jar.
  12. Pull out one sheet and leave it folded and say this is my sheet. OPen the other the sheet and it says die so my sheet(still folded closed) must say live. The answer I had always heard was to pull one out and eat it. That way the have to look at the one that's left.
  13. I never worked at a gun store but I have worked in sales. Anytime I give an opinion like that, I state that it's my personal opinion and I give an opposing opinion as to why other people do like it, for comparison.
  14. Here's one. You are in a Arab country that still has ancient customs concerning crime and punishment. You've been framed for a crime guilty of the death penalty by people who wish to see you dead, but you still have a chance. For every death penalty recieved the man will recieve a jar with two pieces of paper in it. One says live, and one says die. Whichever one you take out is what happens to you. Unfortunately, those who wish to see you dead have gotten access to jar, and it contains two pieces of paper that say die. How do you make it out alive?
  15. I lost a bid on a Pope John Paul bobblehead.
  16. Oh, and WHAT THE HEL does my choice in movies have to do with who's president and who isn't?
  17. 120 round drum! I don't even have an AR and I want!
  18. As epicly awesome as The Kyrgan is, the movie still sucked. By the way, Clancy Brown is also the voice of Mr. Crabs on Spongebob Squarepants.
  19. "Approved for appropriate audiences" If the audience is already appropriate, why does anybody need to approve the trailor?
  20. As far as the AVP series goes, I thought the first one was crap, but the second one was everything it should've been. I have my reservations about this movie, due to the fact that it appears hastily thrown together by a popular director with a lot of big name actors to draw crowds, but I'll give it a chance, since it is a Predator movie.
  21. While there are very little written records about the Vikings at all, there are some concerning their discovery of America. There is also a decent amount of archeological evidence all leading to the consensus that they never raided the Americas. Now I know I'm not citing any sources, but give me some time to dig those up. What I remember about the Vikings and the Americas is that they attempted to trade and settle, and as such had many gifts for the Native Americans, chief among them being dairy products as the Vikings had an abundance of this. Native Americans were notoriously lactose intolerant. Believing to Vikings to have attempted to poison them they reacted with hostility and drove off the Vikings. Besides, just thinking logically the Native Americans did not collect any shiny things of value and were much further away then the various European countries that they raided that trusted all their gold to defenseless monks. (That's not meant as an insult, it's just the truth.) Now, without citing sources I can tell you that the Vikings did not have horned helmets like many believe and CERTAINLY did not have flails. They also never would have taken a child that young (the one in the movie who was the main character) on a raid of anywhere.
  22. I hate Pathfinder. It is an incredibly inaccurate portrayel of the Vikings' discovery of America, how they treated the Natives, and their way of life in general. Not to mention the MASSIVE amount of historical inaccuracies, physical impossiblities, and just the general crappiness of the plot and cinematography.

    GSG 1911 .22lr

Now's not the time for the reappropriation of any funds. Soon though, I'll probably be giving GNL a call about this guy.
  24. I still watch Krull every now and then and I love the movie, but I make no mistake about it, it is incredibly cheesy.
  25. ... and at the prison!
