  1. I would make educated comments if I could get them to go to school on a regular basis.
  2. I missed the memo about the TPS reports.
  3. What would possess somebody to do something like that?
  4. It is exactly like the one in the pictures, except a little beat up. Believe me I have no intentions of selling it. I'm just holding it for my dad while he's in a motel as he's uncomfortable keeping a gun in a motel room. My intention is to try and get him to let me have the gun, or at least sell it to me seeing as how he didn't take care of it, and didn't so much as have ammo for it.
  5. Tolkien did not invent Elvish. He wanted to, but after several attempts at inventing his own language he gave up. It wasn't long after he discovered an ancient Finnish language that had been passed down only orally until somebody before Tolkien discovered the only living person who spoke the language, and recorded it on paper. When Tolkien found these writings he was ecstatic and used this language to derive his Elvish language from. I've heard people refer to Aragorn as Jesus also, I've also heard people consider the book a metaphor for WWII with the ring being the atomic bomb, and the forces of men (the good guys) being the west and all that.
  6. Aslan from the Chronicles of Narnia practically is a furry Jesus, the Lord of The Rings books however, were derived almost entirely from Norse mythology. Many consider Gandalf to be a metaphor for Jesus due to the fact that he dies and comes back to life. However, Tolkien himself has described Gandalf as "an Odinic wanderer". The funny part is that C.S. Lewis and Tolkien used to work in the same building, Tolkien shows Lewis the Lord of The Rings books and Lewis says, you're right, nobody is gonna buy this.
  7. Was it one of those big ones that attach to the end of a counter and you put the thing on top of the huge can, slam it down or hit it and then go from there? Looks kind of like a vice? Nope. Normal handheld can opener that you clamp onto the top of the can and turn the wheel on the outside. It wasn't any particularly complicated safety model either.
  8. 6-7 years is still illegal.
  9. I'm pretty sure we all just saw Strel confess to having a 3 year old girlfriend. CALL THE FEDS!
  10. I had a manager at Domino's who took 3 days to figure how to use the can opener.
  11. This is where delivering for Domino's for just under a year comes in handy. I know more routes through and around Bellevue then even the most modern of GPS units. They're not kept up to date with the building of new roads or the closings of old ones. But yes, this is still extremely disturbing.
  12. Changing your cell phone ring tone to match the ring the store makes whenever an order is placed online so you can call your phone from the store phone and watch everybody run over to the makeline and get confused. Oh wait, that's something I wish I'd done while I had the chance.
  13. And the gun list gets longer.
  14. "Make those who make false claims of military service actually spend time in the service" There's a much easier way to make his claims about being wounded be true.
  15. I'm thinkin' he had Michelle stand on the other side and he tossed the umbrella over to her and then he walked through.
  16. I've always drooled over Nighthawks whenever I seem them. Can't wait to someday shoot and maybe own one, but that's a long way down the gun list.
  17. I'm sorry but I think lying about military service and or medals by political candidates should be a crime. I think one should expect that to be a politician they must be viewed in a more scrutinizing light then that of the average citizen, especially when making such statements that would so heavily influence a decision to vote for them. As despicable as it is for anyone to lie about military service, I see no major harm coming from an average citizen who tells drunk chicks that he fought in such and such war so he can get laid when he in fact did not, but when a politician does it it becomes a tool to get votes, and it corrupts the democratic process of electing leaders in the first place.
  18. Thanks Hawk!
  19. I can email pics if anybody is that curious.
  20. Well technically, it still belongs to my dad. I'm just holding it for him while he's in between places. I'm hoping I can convince him to just let me keep it since he didn't take care of it or even have ammo for it.
  21. I just wanted to know the details about the firearm, what year was it made, can it shoot .357, things like that.
  22. I forgot to add it's SA/DA.
  23. It's a Charter Arms Undercover .38. It's definitely an older model. I couldn't find anything on Charter's website that matched it's appearance. It's got wood grips, and nothing on their website does. I can provide the serial number if anybody can help me find out the details about this thing.
  24. Filling out more job applications. On paper, and online. Oil change, fill out some applications on site, but I finally got an interview scheduled for Monday.
  25. Not when you don't have any money! This is what's made it easiest for me in the past.
