    Name it?

Update on firearm names. I've decided to name my Remington 870 ADT.
  2. "We can offer group discounts on parties larger than 10. If you would like to make a reservation for a larger party then Contact Us and we will work with you to make sure you are taken care of. " TGO group buy anybody?
  3. In defense of LSU (which I must now do with my head hung down) I need to say a couple things. Mainly that LSU is a great team full of great players being led by 2 quaterbacks who couldn't get a starting position with most high schools in this country. It's a sad situation when you are resorting to putting Jarred Lee IN because of interceptions being thrown. Ultimately LSU needs to say screw it, just put Russel Sheperd in because he can at least run the football. Patrick Peterson has more return yards then the LSU offense has passing yards. That sums it up pretty well right there. Florida is going to humiliate the crap out of LSU next week.
  4. Ok, so I finally got my Nagant revolver in and picked it up at Guns and Leather. I didn't order a .32 acp chamber, but the receipt said on it that it in fact was a .32 acp model. Does this mean it's safe to shoot .32 or should I stick to the 7.62x38? On a side note, I haven't yet shot a single thing out of it.
  5. I'm low and to the left. I am however getting incredibly more consistent which is good in and of itself. I had roughly one big 50 round hole between the 8 and 9 rings. And before anybody pulls up the chart, I have a printoff of it, and I'm working to fix my problems. I must admit I was very surprised by how well it functioned. It said 7 round capacity but it fed 8 round mags just fine (came with it). I ended up trading those in for a pair of 7 round mags with a buddy simply because they just weren't flush with the magazine well. They would fit and feed but a little bit of the magazine would stick out and that just bugged me.
  6. Well the good news is I put 100 cheapo rounds through it up at GNL Sunday without any problems. More good news I put a whole lot of rounds in the exact same spots on the paper. The bad news is I just need those spots to be in the middle of the paper.
  7. I traded in my P14, got myself an American Classic 1911A1. I love it, got a set of grips for it that I love. One problem, plastic guide rod. I need a metal one. I was wondering what some of the more experienced 1911 owners would recommend.
  8. Signed up, posting on facebook now.
  9. I'm commenting simply so I can easily find the thread in the future.
  10. Well, hopefully the theft of a firearm will put a decent amount of heat on them from the local PD. I would imagine that's not something they take lightly.
  11. I just picked up an AC 1911A1 yesterday. I've done absolutely nothing with it other then put new grips on and then load it. I am confused, as the manual says 7 round cap, but the 8 round mags fit in it fine, and feed at least the round I keep in the chamber. I will be shooting it, probably Monday if schedule permits, putting 100 rounds through to see how it does. This is the first non-used firearm I've known so I'm excited to be able to be the person to do all the testing as opposed to trying to figure out what the previous owner did with it and what I need to do.
  12. Yeah, I'm waiting for purchases the clear and then I'm done with regions myself.
  13. Garufa- I'm not that riled up about the line, but with the 7 pages of complaints about his gayness, and other mostly petty things, I was just amazed that something like that had not already been pointed out.
  14. Well, there's no need for them to be armed, because now that it's a gun free zone it's completely safe and there's never any crime.
  15. Ouch, and good luck.
  16. I've seen a video with that ballistics gel test with a big block of it, and I remember it doing some pretty incredible damage to that. Can't remember what caliber they were testing though.
  17. I'm just wondering how nobody has pointed the Animal Farm quote that has all but become the epitome of the communist ideology. First he goes on to quote "We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal", but continues with "but some men, are more equal then others". I don't see how a line like that is acceptable when doing a supposedly patriotic American show (no matter how flamboyant the rest of the show was). And yes, I realize the Animal Farm quote is that "Some ANIMALS are more equal then others" but you all get what I'm saying.
  18. My great uncle served under General Patton, and was present at The Battle of the Bulge as well.
  19. Talk about critical thinking skills. That's a heck of a story.
  20. This is turning into 1984, where they tell us what we can and can't eat. I'm a fat kid, plain and simple. When someone tries to legally force me into a specific food intake that's the day there's no longer a place for me in this country.

    Team America....

The USMC doing what they were made for.
  22. If you get a kingdom, can I be the carp czar?
  23. Another alcohol related fatality!
  24. I heard it was 65%. Looks like it's gone up.
  25. Thank you for leading me to a website where I can get handgun grips that say "Heathen".
