  1. I think I personally would've gone with grips that were more contrasting against the gray frame, maybe black, but it's beautiful nonetheless.
  2. I'm readin' reviews that their Nano IWB is pretty comfortable, and I'm planning on ordering that one. I already have an IWB from Caldwell Gunleathers, but the holster caves in slightly from the pressure of the belt once the gun is removed and makes re-holstering difficult.

    Woodworking

Once I find a woodworker, I'll try and post before and after pictures. The guy yall have mentioned sounds great, but I'd like to find someone nearby just for the convenience factor.

I figure if the heirloom thing works out then each generation can find their own little silver bar to put into it, as they don't take up much space.

    Woodworking

    Yeah.

I got some tiny (1 gram) silver bars off of ebay for a few bucks. I thought one of them would look good inlayed into the grip on my dad's old .38.
  7. I actually managed to pick up that and the old cartoon version of The Hobbit on DVD from a Hollywood Video that was going out of business. I loved watching those as a kid, and if I ever get the opportunity, I'm training people to sing that and I'm leading the cadence.

    Woodworking

Anybody here know where I can get some precise woodworking done in the Nashville/Mid TN area? More specifically I need a 1 gram silver bar embedded into the wood grip on my charter arms undercover.
  9. Complete silence should be maintained within the jails and prisons as well. The inmates of Alcatraz said that was by far the worst part of it.
  10. I thought of that too.
  11. It'd be funnier if we weren't getting closer and closer to it becoming legitimate.
  12. Incidentally, does anybody have any info or experience with blade-tech industries and their products?
  13. Power was out till about 630 out here on the Western edge of Nashville. I knew it was comin' but the serious wind and rain REALLY came outta nowhere. Some stuff tossed around but no damage.
  14. You guys are right. It's absolutely pointless for me to spend that kind of money on a shoulder holstered quad mag carrier. ESPECIALLY WHEN I CAN GET ONE ON MY BELT FOR $40 Quad Mag Pouch w/Tek-Lok :: Quad Mag Pouch :: Blade-Tech Industries
  15. I've got an 870. Got a good deal on a police trade-in.
  16. See, I don't see the point of carrying that many guns when you can carry that much in ammo for one gun.

    New Stik

That is absolutely beautiful. I'm posting a link to this discussion on facebook to show some people there if you don't mind.
  18. That and I just can't deny how awesome it would be to conceal carry 4 MAGS on a regular basis under an unbuttoned shirt.
  19. The shoulder holster is entirely for the quad magazine carrier for my 1911. Basically, it's for a SHTF situation when I need to have large amounts of loaded magazines at my disposal. I figure it'll go well under an old army ranger vest I got from Friedman's that's decked out with emergency tools, knives, flashlights and about 50 12 gauge shells. Pluse, a new gun in a new calibur means new ammo, new cleaning supplies, all kinds of additional expenses. I've already got the magazines I need to fill up the quad carrier, so there wouldn't be any expenses past the initial purchase. On the other hand it just doesn't feel right not having some kind of rifle amongst my firearms.
  20. No, now it's jsut flipped. Now it's funny for yall instead a bein funny for me.
  21. I'm selling some stuff on ebay, and long story short one of my items hit the jackpot. I was seriously considering getting a rifle (don't have any yet), but now I'm leaning towards this. Galco Quad Magazine Carrier And the jackass rig to put it on. I posted this in firearm accessories because I'm leaning towards the mag holster, but I'm not 100% on it so I thought I'd get some other opinions.
  22. I thought I'd get more responses based on the amount of discussion put into the last time I got myself fired. Everybody was supposed to get on here and reprimand me about throwing company property. This was supposed to be a decent April fool's joke.
  23. Anybody ever watch this show? I'm thinkin' I might start cause they show people gettin' fired all the time, and gettin' fired seems to be something I'm developing a talent for.
  24. Let's address these: Not to derail your chosen theme but I would suggest you argue people have an ethical responsibility not to lie, cheat, steal, put their own needs above all others and just generally screw other people over.-Far too broad of a topic for a paper, and would never be approved by the teacher. The ethical responsibility is not to own arms, but to defend what is right, promote the good, and protect the innocent.-EXACTLY. If I can make the argument that we have an ethical obligation to protect the innocent, then I can also argue that we have an ethical obligation to protect the innocent using the most effective means available to do so, aka, firearms. Take a fool's advice and write something that won't offend the teacher.-But I'm so good at it!
  25. So, as part of my degree program I'm stuck taking an Intro to Ethics class. Our final paper has to be 3000 words, but we got to choose our own topics as long as the instructor approves of it. I'm wanting to do on paper arguing that people have an ethical responsibility to own firearms. It'll be a tough argument to make, but I'd be thrilled if I could pull this off, as the teacher is notably liberal and more then likely anti-gun. All that being said, I wanted to ask the opinions of the people here, do you think we have an ethical responsibility to own firearms? Why or why not?
