  1. I still think so. Your answers to those who have challenged your opinion are controversial and illogical, and you randomly attack 1911s, a view certain to get some people riled up on this website.
  2. Hahahaha, you have small balls.
  3. Mad Mortigan Doc Holliday Felon (that's the movie title, can't remember the name of his character)
  4. Here's my stock tip: Spend your money while it can still buy something decent.
  5. Oh, and as far as the boat goes, I've had plans to someday learn woodworking and build my own Viking longboat for my carcass to be set out to sea and burned in, so in a few decades I'll have that part covered.
  6. Thanks for the responses so far, I was hoping the expenses involved in duck hunting wouldn't be what they are. I'm still gonna take the TWRA course, and get the shotgun. I figure I can drop some clays with it until the duck hunting time comes. As far as this shotgun goes, Tradewinds was the importer. If my research is right (which is flimsy at best) it might be an early model Franchi autoloader. It appears to look almost identical to what I've seen of the modern models, other then some beautiful scrollwork on the reciever. As far as the duck hunting, I'm sure there's some kind of small bird I can hunt that's not so expensive to do. Quail or pheasent or something like that. I don't know what it is about small birds but those guys sure are tasty.
  7. Got the paper done, and I specifically requested the instructor email his feedback to me. I have a feeling this a topic he's never gotten a paer on before and I look forward to seeing what he has to say. I gotta say from my end, I got a heck of an argument for campus carry here. It's a little off because I had to focus on the ethics of it as opposed to just the numbers and logic behind it, but it's still pretty good.
  8. Alright, the freemasons off Charlotte are offerin' the TWRA hunter ed course at the end of the month, and I've been eyein' a shotgun at NSA that would be great for hunting, so it looks like I'm startin' to run out of excuses that keep me from hunting. I've always thought ducks looked tasty, and I know I don't like turkey, so I figure I'll get into duck hunting. First of all, I need to know about a shotgun company called Tradewinds. It's the company that makes the 12 gauge I'm eyein' and I can't find hardly anything about 'em online. Secondly I need to what kind of expenses to expect between the licenses I'll need to get, and what kind of equipment I'll need to buy for duck hunting. Lastly I just need what the good spots are for duck hunting (lakes, obviously, but I was hoping for some more specific answers). Also any tips on dressing and preparing ducks would certainly be appreciated. I don't plan on huntin' for trophy or sport, just for food.
  9. My first handgun (and firearm period) was a Ruger P345 that I had to sell back in Baton Rouge for financial reasons. I'm gonna be so glad to have a Ruger in .45 again, and a 1911 no less!
  10. That was hardly a Goofy video. I didn't see a single Disney character in it, much less Goofy.
  11. I could've sworn the entire point of those things was to be able to smoke where you formerly couldn't.
  12. Minor mistake, price was $595. I've made my trade, got $300 for it as I predicted. I now wait until I get that phone call from GnL. They couldn't gimme any specifics about the date, but they said in their experience Ruger is better about making expected release dates. I suspect that in the middle TN they'll one of, if not the first out of the shops to get 'em in, so I went with them. I coulda swore they said $580 but oh well, it aint exactly a dramatic difference.
  13. Went to GnL yesterday. Asked 'em about the chance of preordering one, they said they're gonna be sellin' 'em for $580.00 and preorder requires $100 down. Goin' up there in a few minutes to trade in my American Classic, probably get about $300 on the trade. Then I'll be able to be one of the first to own one when they come in. Before anybody asks, I didn't ask how long it's gonna take for them to get them in, but I expect they'll be amongst the first wave of TN shops that get 'em.
  14. Oh well, at this point the argument has turned into nothing more then northern high school kids trying to justify the civil war without any real knowledge of it.
  15. Dammit. I was hoping he wasn't southern. Oh well, I've already brought up the example of the union officers in comparison to the confederates to demonstrate that the north has it's share of morons.
  16. Can anybody tell me who he is? Somebody I know on facebook posted the link and commented that it must be a southern politician. I'm hoping to massively embarress this person for assuming stupidity is somehow a southern trait.
  17. Posting so I can easily find this thread in the future. My two questions have already been asked.
  18. Now I will admit that this did cause me to write an amazing paper on the wrong topic, then scramble to write the right paper right before the deadline.
  19. I've written all my papers this semester while drinking and I've gotten all As. All the evidence says that I either write better when I'm drinking, or that my instructors are doing their grading while they're drinking.
  20. I'll talk to NSA tomorrow. I've already bugged 'im about it once, figure I can do it again.
  21. Ok, in all seriousness who do we contact about a group buy?
  22. I smell a group buy.
  23. I gotta admit, I am chomping at the BIT to be able to say I own one of the first batch. I hate preowned firearms for the simple reason that in my experience, most people don't take care of their guns the way I do. But to be able to say that I got the gun brand new out of the very first batch that came off the line is a whole new level of that!
  24. Here's the question of the year, who's gonna have it in stock and WHEN?
