I was bringing up duck hunting because I was in the process of getting a shotgun that was pretty much perfect for it. I went in to get it, and instead I just had to get the double barrel coach gun. Since I don't have the shotgun that would be great to use for it, I don't feel the need to imediately get into duck hunting. Especially with all the other expenses I have recently discovered were involved.

Until I have a bad experience with a Taurus I will keep praising them. Now I will readily admit that all the stuff they're doing with various models of The Judge is just getting ridiculous. I mean I saw one at GnL the other day with the 3 inch chamber and a freakin' rail on the barrel. Yeah, good luck finding a holster for that.

Also time is a measurement of distance. Jus' make a left and go down Old Hickory for about 10 minutes and you'll see it there on the right. I'll bet money everybody on this forum who has lived a decent amount of time in Nashville has heard those exact directions.

1st issue-I'll look into that. 2nd issue-Yeah, I felt a little prick, and for once it wasn't my own! I'm convinced it'll fire, but I'll still take 'em both out tomorrow morning just to get to shoot em.

I have a Remington 870 12 gauge with a 7 shell extended mag tube. When fully loaded with 7 shells, the last shell never wants to feed properly. I have to get my fingers in there and fiddle with it a bit. I'm thinking the problem is just he mag spring. Secondly, I have a CAI imported Chinese 12 gauge coach gun. I've noticed that the hammers never make contact with the firearm and appear to be intentionally cut so that they don't. I've looked around online and this appears to be normal for the JW-2000 and from what I can tell they still fire just fine, I just can't see how it would without the hammers actually striking. Does anybody have experience with these to clarify on these issues?

I've already jumped to conclusions-How? Noticed how I said LEADS ME TO BELIEVE, as opposed to immediately claiming who was justified in what and who wasnt. Article says the officer ID'ed himself and the victim pointed his weapon at the officer. The article also cites witness statements that contradict that. A good pre-shot warning. I never said I felt it necessary for a pre shot warning, I said JUSTIFIED OR NOT HE IS GOING TO GET IN TROUBLE. The fact is that the expectations of police officers in this country to justify the use of deadly force are borderline absurd. Whether I agree with it or not I can safely say right now, that this man is going to get into some kind of trouble, because plain and simple, SOMEBODY is going to sue. Even if the victim had fired at the officer there would be a family member out there somewhere sobbing to the media about how their little whoever didn't deserve to die, and how the police didn't need to shoot 'im. Gods I'm starting to see why LEO shooting threads get locked so quickly.

There's always the Taurus PT1911 in .38 Super. A lot of people on these forums bash Taurus but I've nerver had a problem with them. From what I've seen Taurus is Smith and Wesson without the price tag... and here comes the flak.

Justified or not, he's going to get in trouble for not rendering aid/calling paramedics himself, and for not warning before the shot. The fact that he didn't call paramedics leads me to believe it wasn't justified, but there just aren't enough facts out right now to start jumping to conclusions.
