Mcurrier-You sound like the people who constanly frustated me at Blockbuster whenever we put up large signs in bold sharpie that our computer system was down. Somehow almost nobody ever noticed the signs.

http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/lookout/al-sharpton-trayvon-martin-family-urge-peace-20th-222748970.html First Sharpton says he doesn't want violence ( I'm calling bull on that one), he then goes on to say that Zimmerman should be put to trial instead of being acquitted by police. Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty?

"She stopped talking after that." I can't seem to get them to do that. I guess I should buy more guns.

I hate to hear of the peace of any couple being broken. For the sake of the happiness of your marriage, I would gladly relieve you of these items that are causing so much strife.

Govt limits under 18 yr olds from working on farms.

This is the government. They wouldn't have moved the hay for you. They would've watched and supervised and came up with dozens of obscure rules to tell you HOW to move the hay and straw. The rules may seem ridiculous, but remember, they would be necessary for your safety and the safety of those around you. Also you would've had to pay money to watch a video about all the new rules and then pay more money to get some kind of permit or certification, I'm sure. -
Chilling, is what I'd call it. He's spot on unfortunately.

Gold 1911 grips...can we say BLING BLING!!!
Ebow1 replied to a topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
I don't know the details drummer, as I never bother to take a detailed look at those ebay adds. But I constantly see these adds when browsing the 1911 grips on ebay for these gold/silver plated grips that someone has listed at buy it now for $199.99. I have no idea if they ever actually sell at that price. I'll bet you there's some idiot somewhere on ebay who thinks gold 1911 grips are really cool and you might be able to get a decent hunk of change if you try sellin em there. -

I see so many of those sets priced at $200 or something like that on Ebay. I'll give you a dollar to take those off your hands. -
Bank of America to gun company: Find another bank

I used to have Regions, and had been meaning to get rid of them ever since they started posting. I just never got around to it because I always used my debit card and I was gassing up so frequently delivering pizzas that I constantly had transactions pending. I took a delivery to a manager at the regions on the corner of Charlotte and 51st. No tip. I had the next 3 days off in a row. I made sure to not use my card at all for the next two days, went in on the third, and closed my account and moved to Suntrust. -

If I knew the government was watching me I would become a nudist just to make them miserable for doing so. -

I'm with ya on that. I have a series of, let's says, "decoy" guns scattered throughout the house that aren't loaded. The ones that ARE, are not in any place where any intruder willl acquire them before me.

Yeah, but let's face it, anything they can pass that gives them more power without us noticing, they will. Give them four years of ignorance and we'll be like England, with a camera on every street corner. -
Yeah, I figure as long as I don't plan on reloading it in action it's not a problem, but I still don't like the idea of not being able to depend on it.

What WD-40 said. Basically, change up your bait. You use the same thing over and over and the fish catch wise. That's all there is to it. This may sounds strange, but I can tell ya my older brother and my dad caught a whole school of bass outta the same pond on the same day usin' balled up bits of bread. Throw that ought there and I'll bet you're bound to get a few before the others catch wise.

I once had that very revolver in pieces in a bag. For the simple reason that it contains very tiny parts and putting it back together was just too much of a PITA for me. So I payed someone else to do it.

I've had plans to upgrade to a Ruger LCR for awhile, I just needed to know whether or not this thing was safe to carry as a backup. I've been assuming no. Nevertheless, it will remain in my collection as the gun passed down to me from my father, and should I ever have children I will pass down a properly maintained and functioning firearm.

Mr Darwin, clean-up on aisle 3, please...

We lost a Spanish teacher due to a nervous breakdown. To be honest, if you cry in front of a bunch of high school kids, and run outside while calling them all a "bunch of big jerks" any expectation of respect is just unrealistic at that point. -
I've got an old Charter Arms .38 Undercover snubnose that's been having some issues. Last time I took it to the range, I couldn't get the cylinder back into the gun. It was like somebody had literally jammed up that joint where the cylinder attaches to the frame. Being that I had shot far more rounds through that gun that I'd ever fired in one sitting, I attributed it to that. I took it home, removed the cylinder, cleaned and oiled it extremely well, and thought that would be the end of it. However, not too long later, after only firing 25 rounds, it gave me the same problem. Any solutions, or do I need to retire this thing?

JAB-I too shudder at that thought. I own one semi-auto handgun, a Ruger 1911 that I would never sell for any amount of money. I also own only one single revolver, a POS Charter Arms .38 snubnose that wasn't taken care of well by its previous owner. The kicker, is that its previous owner was my dad. I dread thinking of having to choose between my favorite EDC (out of the variety I've owned over time) and the gun passed down to me from my father.

We'll be like the Borg from Star Trek, with all kinds of mechanical #### attached to us. Except it won't be to aid us in "adapting" it will be to monitor us. It won't be long after that that the mole people take over.
