  1. Welcome, I grew up in Memphis and live in Fayette now. I hunt ducks, mostly go with friends. I am starting to get into deer hunting. Where are you moving from? Paul
  2. Yes, my beltman belt will!
  3. I have a Beltman 1 1/2 in leather belt. I got it last year as my first gunbelt. It makes a world of difference. It does not sag, it holds the gun close to your body, it makes heavy guns seem lighter. It is thicker than a regular belt. It is very sturdy and will last a long time. It is worth getting a gunbelt if you carry often. Paul
  4. Thanks Mugster, I just want it for doing a little plinking around the house. It seems like it would do that job alright. Paul
  5. I am interested in a Mini 14 and I have been reading about them lately. I've read that the "580 series" released in 2005 after a major re-tooling is the way to go. How can I tell if a rifle is a 580 series? Does the SN start with 580? I'm sure someone here knows.
  6. Congrats, had my 1st last May!
  7. Not as long as Kyle is voting.

    Model 19 Glock

I have one and it is flawless. Great first Glock. My desire for an AR is making me think stupid thoughts about selling it. I might snap out of it!

One more vote for the 870
  18. Winchester Repeating arms?
  19. I am impressed with that link that waynesan posted. It says several times that the 2nd is not about hunting. I don't know if he has much of a chance but I like what I read. Paul
  20. With speedloaders you can reload a revolver about as fast as a semi-auto, just takes a little practice! Paul
  21. I have a Kahr Mk-40. Great reliable gun, easy to conceal.
  22. Gun and ammo locked separate, magazine empty on semiautos.
  23. Welcome from Fayette county right outside of Collierville.
  24. I have a 1962 Marlin 336 35 Rem. It is in awesome shape, I was talking with an older guy I worked with about rifles and he told me he had an old lever gun that he used a couple of times in the sixties and then pretty much forgot about it. I could not believe when he said, "hey, do you want it?" I bought it for a very reasonable price and it is a great rifle. Paul
  25. I think the letter is a good idea except for this part:On 9/26/2007 I plead guilty to count 2 of “Driving over the legal Blood Alcohol Limit”. (Change that date and you are good!) Paul
