  1. Does Pachmayer still make the compact grip for them? I have an old pair on my Model 60 that I really like.

    which one to get????

Exactly what is wrong with being gorilla size? I am 6'-8" and a little sensitive. I'm not fat just big boned @ 325#'s. I can also carry an 8-3/8" N frame concealed under a light shirt. Also stayed at a Holiday Inn Express once also!
  3. Howdy from Jefferson City. +1 on Sevier Indoor Range. Nice folks and modern facility.
  4. Majority of it will be debt reduction. The rest will be mad money for something like a box of 22LR!
  5. If you can fill your magazine tube with 7 shells you don't have a plug. I think they are usually plugged to hold 3 or 4 shells maximum.
  6. Nice to see that you had a chance to get back a memory maker. an items worth cannot always be reflected by dollars.
  7. They told me I couldn't use a 10/22 either but I did. Actually not all that hard after a bit of practice.
  8. Apparently one of the auction employees ran a Range Rover through two groups of buyers when he lost control of it somehow.
  9. Hey, I'm there, will look forward to meetin you. We will of course get the TGO 25% discount after giving the secret handshake won't we?
  10. Magicarpetrides- You weren't anywhere near a Chicago Auto Auction (that is being prominently mentioned on the news page now) today were you? Seems lots of folks were hurt badly!
  11. Every shop around my area say that their reps tell them, "out of stock, on backorder, no idea when we will have any". I traded mine on a P9 and got a bit of a premium since they were so hard to get. Only explanation was Keltec runs guns in batches and right now they are focusing on the 9mm's.
  12. Rabbi- Let me know if you decide to keep the HiPower. I have been digging through boxes and came across some original grips, a spare barrel, some springs etc..I don't have any use for them now and don't feel like putting them on fleabay.
  13. I had one back when they first came out. 1985ish I think? Mine worked fine and was just as accurate as my 10/22 was. The last one I saw at a gunhow was in the $175 range. If I could get it for a reasonable price I would buy it. I think they were built by ERMA and imported by IVER? I don't know if you can still find parts though.
  14. Hadn't thought of that, since I don't have any shells right now. Thanks for the heads up. I'll go check it!

    .50 cal Glock 21

Hey! I have a DE! of course its blued and only in 9mm. I didn't even get a set of Grillz for my Teefs when I bought it. Actually it is an excellent gun with absolutely no problems since I purchased it many moons ago. A friend of mine described it as being kind of like me. It is big and heavy, holds lots of whatever you feed it, and actually gets the job done. Not sure if that was a complement or a slam. It was kind of funny when I took the permit class. The instructor said that in the 10+ years of courses no one had ever used one.
  16. I was thinking that you may need to use an ankle or leg holster. Thats a lot of weight to try keep secured on a boot.
  17. I just put the regular shoulder stock on for now. I will have to be on the lookout for a folder of some sort when my wallet revives itself. Oh yeah, the checks in the mail!
  18. Pulled out shoulder stock and noticed a rattle inside. Unscrewed the recoil pad and found ziplock with allen wrench and long bolt inside. Bolt threads in from rear of buttstock I just have to find a long screwdriver to get it good and tight. Thanks for the help.
  19. I'll let you know in a little while!
  20. Just a plain pistol grip. Allen screw is visible. Just unscrew it I understand. How does full length stock attatch?
  21. I just purchased a slightly used Mossberg 500. Of course it had no manual or other factory papers. It looks like it may have been shot 2 or 3 times at the most. Right now it is wearing the tuff-guy pistol grip. How do I swap out the pistol grip for the regular shoulder stock?
  22. I wanna try shooting skeet with one of those. I just need to find one to borrow.
  23. Boom--That just ain't right!
  24. Don't ever apologize for loving your Mini. I have had 3 of them over the years and all shot better than I did. Currently I have a Rock River AR, but I hear another Mini calling me. I want another old style, not the new fangled counter weighted barrel contraption. The one on this sale forum is awful tempting!!!!
  25. You guys are luckier than I am. On the two occasions I visited, I was never even awarded a grunt, much less a greeting or an offer of assistance. Hell, I can get that at home anytime! They did have some neat looking stuff though.
