  1. They closed that one and relocated everything to the Seveirville store 6 months or so ago.
  2. There is a Browning on LSN now in 44mag.......
  3. Does Ruger still produce there 44 mag rifles? One was lever which I think has been discontinued, and the other was basically a big 10/22 chambered in 44 mag.
  4. I have a low 1999 Mercury Grand Marqiuse that gets 25-29 mpg highway if I keep my foot out of it. I'll be glad to hook you up for 10 grand .

    Revolvers?

I like both. I usually carry an auto, but prefer to shoot my revolvers.

    Question

Before you resort to that, go to a hardware store and pick up a can of paint stripper. It will take it down to the bare wood if you don't get in a hurry. I like the paste type best, it doesn't seem to get all over everything as badly. Basically you paint on a thick coat and wait for the paint to bubble/blister and then scrape it off gently. Wear eye protection and good gloves, don't get in a big rush, give it time to work. The store can give you more info if you need it. (Remove any plastic or blued parts to keep stripper from damaging them)

    Value of gun

I agree with CKnight it's been a long time since I saw a decent Model 19 for less than $400!
  8. Sounds like the same Coal Creek "Expert" I got to speak with!

    Question

Is the stock underneath wood or composite? If it's wood there is no problem with thinner. Plastic or composite try a hidden place like under butt pad to make sure the thinner doesn't eat it. I don't think you can thin or dilute thinner!
  10. As far as wives go, you never buy a new gun, you always trade something and make a few extra dollars. Either that or your letting a buddy try your gun while you try his for a while. It can save a beatin!
  11. I don't use paypal after getting hosed on a couple ebay deals. How can I submit a donation by cash, check, food stamps etc? Is there amailing address I could use?
  12. Must be a recent addition, I was also in last Monday and it wasn't posted. I would much rather visit Sevier Indoor Range, just a few miles down the road, concealed weapons are welcomed as olng as they stay concealed. Plus you don,t have to deal with all those dangerous people swinging golf clubs at your head! I can guarantee J. Floyds needs me more as a customer than I need them as a vendor!
  13. I'm in, let me know.

    first 9mm

Almost every major manufacturer makes a really good 9mm now. As many have said, you need to try some on, and decide whether you prefer a Ford or Chevy etc. Its probably a lot easier to tell you which brands are of lesser quality and better to stay away from. Of course someone will have one of them, and it will be the best thing since sliced bread! To make it short, get what fits, try it, buy it, then trade it for something else1:D

    Franchi SPAS-15

I was just thinking my Saiga 12 should be worth $15-20,000, if his buy it now price is $40,000......... Any takers? I'll even throw in a big box of shells from Wally World at that price.
  16. Oh, there all going over seas. I thought maybe all the mall ninja swat teams were getting new equipment. Never mind!
  17. Now I don't feel so bad about the virus caused crash on my computer putting me offline for two days.
  18. Some of those are going to leave mark!
  19. Speaking as a mailman, I don't know which is worse, kids waiting to ambush us for their report cards before mom sees it, or grownups waiting for HCP'S!

    Kel-Tec .380

I like them. As referenced earlier, they work and are light enough to just throw in your pocket when heading out. The .380's are pretty hard to find now.

    Just got a new 1911

Try going to 1911forum.com, they have a gunsmith/modification forum that I am sure will help you. Good Luck! Try not to get aggravated, it makes it worse. Ask me how I know.
  22. I'll bet them suckers will be real flame throwers!
  23. Rabbi if you do that you will also need to charge everybody that comes in a $10 entrance fee. Be sure to stamp their hand so they can come back in for free on the same day!
  24. Don't be afraid to look at a Ruger. They are built like tanks and I don't think he will ever wear out. I would suggest either a GP100 or Security Six.
  25. Should have shown him your official "HCP" Badge and you probably have only gotten a warning.
