I have a compact, single stack Para with the LDA. Mine has never given me any trouble at all. I ran about 150 rounds of WWB through it last week. Anybody around Knox that wants to try it, is more than welcome to. I would buy another if a deal happened along. Actually I would prefer a commander sized one.

Do they not teach drivers in Tn to accelerate when merging onto an interstate from an entrance ramp? If they do, I think a lot of folks were sleeping during that part of class!

I haven't played with one before, so I can't answer that part of the question. The few that I have come across, have all been in the $350-$400 range.

I like my Para CCO. Only problem I have had was with a magazine, but a shot of carb cleaner seems to have taken care of that.

I am a Postal Union Member, it is the first I have ever belonged to. I am a member not a supporter. The biggest problem I have with it, is the way worthless employees who need to be fired, are protected. I also have a problem with them telling me who I should vote for. They are also kind enough to give part of my union dues to the candidates of their choice. That is, whatever is leftover after the convention. These are usually held in a resort city somewhere! Damn! I sound disgruntled.

Well before all my guns got swiped I used to carry an S&W model 60 or 66 with whatever shiney hollow point ammo I had laying around at the time.

First time voting since moving to Tn. Called elections office to find out which location I should vote.. Of course they sent me to the wrong one, so I got to wait in line twice! No problem, I voted so I can bitch about sorry politicians! Proud to cancel out a Nobama vote too!

Make sure you have a good quality belt. It will really help to distribute the weight and to keep it wherever you decide to carry it. No Wally World crap!

I bet if they were to call the Supervisor of Elections in their county, that there would be a couple less poll workers! Not sure about N.C. but any mention of a particular candidate, amendment, etc, is absolutely forbidden.

I think this is starting to happen a lot more often. Someone stole a trailer from the Sevier food pantry a few months ago. It actually turned out well for them though. After the story hit the paper, the public donated two trailers to them. Sorry for your loss and hope things work out alright for the kids.
