  1. Anybody make any resolutions yet to break before the end of the week? Me? I am going with the ever popular lose wight and save some money theme this year.
  2. I have had two in the past, none at present. Excellent gun, though a bit thick for concealed carry. I may have an extra magazine for it if your interested.
  3. Alright, as resident mailman on the forum, I'll handle this! The postal inspectors will just laugh. They don't step in unless your mail is stolen or opened, etc. The best thing to do is to go online or to call the 800# and make a complaint. Call the postmaster you talked to and ask him for the number since he is obviously unable to solve the problem at the local level. They get a copy of the complaint and someone from the office will have to call you and discuss the problem. They catch hell if the same person with the same problem keeps calling in and complaining. Sadly it's about the only way to get anything done Don't feel bad. I deliver mail all day and come home to find my lazy rural carrier has misdelivered my mail and left a book on top of our mailbox all day in the rain. They don't get paid by the hour, more like salary, the faster they go the more they get. Accuracy and quality of service suffer greatly! Let me know me if you need anymore info.
  4. + 1 on Sevier Indoor. They have taken my money several times. Nice, clean, modern range. I haven't been able to afford anything at J Floyds, but they usually have a lot to look at while my wife hits the clothes store next door.

    J Floyds?

I heard today that J floyds in Sevier was closing down? Anybody else have anymore info?
  6. Were the holsters on the dorr supplied with the safe, or did you use an aftermarket setup? If so, what type? I need more room and that would help out some.
  7. I have a butt load of mixed brass free for the taking . It was all given to me and I don't have the time nor desire to screw with it! Free to whomever wants to pick it up in the Jefferson City or Knox area. Let me know here.
  8. It will be like a Knox show only much smaller. I'll go just to try and support it. Who knows, I might even find a toy.
  9. lately I have only been using non ethanol fuel. It cost a few cents per gallon more. I'm not sure about a difference in fuel mileage, but the difference in performance is obvious. No more rattle and lifter noise etc. I'll pay the difference.

That would be the one. I'll try to get some pics up soon. Been busier than a one armed paperhanger in a windstorm at work.
  12. Tried to log on and do some window shopping but there website seems to be gone. Anybody seen them lately?

    Dang gunshop!

Just kidding on the dishwasher thing. Any water for that matter. Just bust out the Hoppes or something similar, it will usually decrud most stuff with bronze or nylon brush. Maybe a little Flitz or Mothers Mag polish to shine. Just go slow and easy or your blue gun will end up nice and shiney silver!

    Dang gunshop!

Nah! I got to run it throught the dishwasher first, it is a little grungy.

    Dang gunshop!

Stopped in to just look around, honest! $325 later I ended up with a 5" blue model 27-1 in my car. It won't win any beauty contests with about 90% blue remaining, but I didn't buy it for that. Wish I would have found it before the cold blue fairy did but I think it will clean up pretty well. Now to tell Ms Clause tat Santa did his own shopping this year!
  16. Maybe it's just me, but I have never worn one out. Seen some that had been "action -jobbed" that needed to be replaced. Send it to them, I'm sure they will honor there lifetime warranty. I am guessing thats what they will tell the BBB also, if they bother to respond.
  17. I think they are Swiss made if I remember correctly.
  18. Also check out the various varieties of Holly. We havs some mean S.O.B.'s around our house. We just moved here so not really sure what variety they are.
  19. Maybe consult with his physician and let him know whats going on. Possibly he made need meds or an adjustment of the ones he ocurrently taking. Possibly the Dr. could rat him out for you to the HCP people.

    Palm Gun?

I am sure the older folks with "limited dexterity and strength" are going to love setting that thing off!
  21. I went last year. I don't remember what it cost, $6.00 maybe? It was very small but mostly all guns. Thats where I bought my Para Ord. I'll go again just to try and keep it alive. Oh yeah, no boats or campers etc, also pretty bad selection of beanies!

    Lay-a-way Plan

It's about 50/50 in Jefferson-Morristown area. A couple cheerfully do it, acouple look like you tracked in dog crap when asked. Guess who gets my business?
  23. I don't know. Price point maybe? To many guts crammed in to small a place? Combination of the three? I'm sure someone will come up with a spring kit for them soon due to their popularity and everyones general dislike of the trigger. Get on the stick there Wilson, Brownell, etc we're tired of waiting already!
  24. As a Gator Fan, I am sad to see him leave!
