  1. Ah! Thats why I remember the name. I was on the Ruger Forum and somebody was getting the same old run around! I think they had a different address though. Neale Drive maybe? Search option didn't pull up that thread for some reason last night.
  2. Who are they? Located in Knoxville, and gaining quite the reputation on several other forums. Anyone done business with them that could verify or debunk?
  3. I just hope its something I already have ammo for!
  4. I guess I am just old and out of touch, but that seems like a lot of money for a piece of plastic nailed to a piece of leather. You May Begin Flaming Me Now!
  5. welcome to TGO....where were you in FL? +1

    P238 on Gunbroker!

$699, thats only what 15 boxes of ammo? Less if you get the "Super Duper Imported Personal Defense Rounds" advertised in more than one place for a buck a shot or so!
  7. What? no picture? Is she ugly or something? Just kidding! Congrats to both of you. Best of luck, it takes work. My wife and I are just finishing 30 years of a life sentence!

    Kel Tec RFB .308

I like them, but I think I'll wait a little while until Ruger rips off their design and buy it instead. Then when they recall it I can get a free mag and hat!
  9. I was under the impression that RIG had been dscontinued by the mfg.

    New .45 I want

That would be a blast in the bath tub. Any idea of what selling price will be on them?
  11. The belt you hang it on is every bit as important as the holster. Don't skimp, get a good belt made for carrying a holstered gun! No heavy duty Wally World crap!
  12. Give it a light coating of gun oil or one of the spray silicones for guns. This will remove any oils from handling that promote rust. Don't drown it just wipe it down well.
  13. Hang tough and enjoy the time left together to the fullest! Prayers sent your way.
  14. Need this day now more than ever before!
  15. What kind of establishment are they? Business or what?
  16. So LASD drops the MP for being unreliable and goes to Glock. Detroit dumps Glocks for being unreliable and goes to MP's. Maybe they could just trade for a while?
  17. Get one and shoot it. If you can't hit them at least you can scare hell out of them! I've been looking for a "semi-reasonable" priced one for a while now.
  18. Here is the "official explaination" on badges. CCW ID for Smith and Wesson Model 24 : Revolvers at GunBroker.com. It's on Gunbroker, it has to be true!
  19. Post up the lodging info. Maybe some of us locals could mmet up with you foreigners for dinner or a trip to the range!
  20. I have wanted a .22 revolver to replace the S&W Model 63 I foolishly sold years ago. I paid to much for a 6" model 617 to replace it. Later in the same week found a like new Browning Buckmark for $270. I enjoy the Browning twice as much for about half the price. Great gun, get you one!
  21. Bring on Term Limits!
  22. We are limited to one box per customer per day at our local Wally World!
  23. It has a lifetime guarantee. Call Ruger and let them fix it like it should be.
  24. Almost everybody I knew that sailed over there kept a flare pistol and a large stash of flares for "emergencies". These were permitted anywhere and quite effective deterrents.
  25. Coworker who frequents the place verified. Employee shot himself in the hand with a 40 cal. Went through his hand and the display case beneath. Employee back at work with heavily bandaged hand. Not sure what type of gun but probably not a Glock since his butt was not hit!
