Nope Sevier indoor is where I go also. I like the atmosphere much better than CCA.

I have a 13 year old son who is just dying to get an old war rifle. Doesn't matter what kind just has to have one. Preferably with bayonet. I don't mind as I think it could be an interesting project for him to research its use and history. Only conditions I have are: Price-it must be cheap! +/- $200. And ammo must be available. Other than that it's pretty much wide open.. Suggestions and heads ups appreciated.

Why not just leave it loaded all the time? Dispose of the bullets periodically by pulling the trigger at the range.

At any rate it is a still a very collectible, well built firearm that I would love to have. Should last you several life times. Break my heart, tell me what you paid? I have been hunting for one reasonably priced for a while now.

I'm thinking scratch also. Cracks happen most often at the forcing cone area. Let one of the shops look at it I doubt they will charge much, if anything.

Don't know what happened! Everything was fine and the next minute I find a new Glock 19 in my hand as I am walking out the door of the shop! What the hell happened? Where are my kevlar butt pads now? Seriously though, this is only my second Glock in 20 years and it looks like this might end up being my primary carry gun do to size, capacity, etc. Anyone have a favorite holster for IWB at the 4:00 position?

I think $400 is a fair price on the LCP package. If I was selling, I'd start at $600 on the XD package. I wouldn't go much less either, unless I was in a cash crunch!

Shoot a couple hundred rounds of ball ammo through it before you start getting all worked up about feeding problems. The majority of 1911's smooth themselves out pretty quickly.

Do you reload or know someone who does? I have a little bit of brass left if you do.
