  1. Uhm, some of the best lawyer jokes I have ever been told, were told by lawyers and judges. Most of the ones I have met have had very good senses of humor.
  2. May 25th made 30 years this time.
  3. Will the recycle truck take them?
  4. 36-1 's were produced from 1967 until 1988. Does it have a pinned barrel?
  5. Many moons ago I used to shop at Dixie Gun Works for BP toys and accessories.
  6. I had a Raven .25 cal and a Jennings .22 auto. Both were that cheesy chrome finish. I bought the pair for $100. Both actually worked pretty well. This would have been in the early 80's. Really have no idea whatever happened to them, come to think of it.
  7. left over hamburger from last night:-\
  8. Looks like he must have yanked his ad because it's gone now! Sorry! Either he figured out what it was worth or somebody got a hell of a deal!
  9. Anybody looking for 10mm ammo? Somebody on Gun Owners Club has 20 boxes listed for sale at $15 per box. I'm thinking about buying it just because it's cheap. I can always get the gun later!
  10. Took mine there last year. Well run and no stupid crap, other than "the movie", as required by law. Try to be in the first couple of sets of shooters on the range portion. You'll get done a lot sooner!
  11. Well you can't really hurt it much worse, just go out and shoot the heck out of it until you get a chance to have it refinished!
  12. Rebluing is the only thing that is going to fix that. Other option is use some fine brass wool and oil, take off what you can and then just shoot it. Expensive booboo!
  13. Not a hog hunter but an Fl native, Where do you hunt there are some big puppies down around Lake Okee.
  14. You'll put you eye out kid!

    Looking for 2 guns

I gotta disagree with few takers for a resale "LS". Watching other sale forums they go just as quickly as non"LS" models. Especially the 3" model 65's.
  16. Just about! Slide is shorter with no forward serrations. If I read the web sight correctly they made 600 of the Royal Carry.
  17. If all else fails you could go for the tactical suspenders!
  18. When I was still in Flo9rida the local demo crews would come out and paint a big red X on the house to be demoed. Before they wrecked it they required the owner or rep to meet them at the site and sign off they had the correct house. Kind of like a surgeon having you put an X on the correct side of your body prior to an operation. Screw ups get expensive fast!
  19. Tacticle here. Big Boy/Big Gun! You didn't make a mistake at all.
  20. Damn it! I've got 3 new toys I haven't played with yetand I have to work! Somebody shoot a few rounds for me so I'll feel better about it. Oh yeah, I like Shoneys Breakfast Bar. Eat a half pound of bacon for me also!
  21. Kind of hard to figure a price without a little more info as has been mentioned. Model # would be great, caliber also handy to know. Bolt action? lever? auto?
  22. So i stopped by the local shop to grab a couple boxes of 9 to go wring out the Glock 19 from the other thread. Owner was busy (one man shop) so as I waited I checked out the pistol case. New production Colt 1911...pass, to much. RIA Tacticle Govt.....nice,but pass again. Kimber Royal Carry less than the previous two? Held it,felt it, bought it! I'm broke! Never did get the damn ammo!!!!! I know, didn't happen without pix. Lookin for the camera, wife has been taking pictures of the abandoned kitten she found on the side of the road. It cost half as much as my Kimber, after its trip to the vet!!!!!!!!!!!!
  23. Well I'll go against the grain here. My recommendation is Weight Watchers. Especially now that you can do it online and not have to do the meeting thing weekly. I think currently they are running a one week free trial now. It is basically a low fat/low carb type diet. Every food is given a points value, you are given a total number of points to use per day according to your present weight. No food is prohibited, even doughnuts!, you just have to decide if you want to burn the points for that item. Its not a rapid weight loss program, it took me about a year to knock off a hundred pounds. And like most others have posted I have out some of it back on and am now working it down again.
  24. I think I'll finally have a chance to wring it out some tomorrow. I had a Glock 22 several years ago that I never much cared for. Traded it on an XD when they first came out. Still have the XD and willl probably end up giving one or the other to my son for a college graduation present. In the mean time I'll continue shooting both to make sure they stay properly broken in.
  25. I am sure Smoky Mountain Knife Works in Sevier could help you out if you don't find anyone closer. Check their web sight they say they buy collections etc....
