I was in the local store today and noticed a Ruger LCR in stock. If anyone is interested I think it was $479. I didn't pay to much attention as they just don't scream out to me. I'll post contact info if anyone is interested.

Most of what I buy now is used. Just about every mfg. has a lifetime warranty. Just look for the best condition that you can afford. My ratio is probably around 80% used and 20% new.

Just do like I do. Buy the old ones without the stupid lock! You can usually find a nice one for less than a new stupid one.

Send it to Ruger. Call them first for a free return tag. It has a lifetime warranty. They will probably throw in a free hat or something if you don't threaten to sue them!

I think the sling is a sling and not a belt. If it were mine and it's not, I would give the leather a little conditioning with Mink Oil or some other type leather conditioner to prevent further rotting.

I think he probably means the friend should have taken the time to drill holes in his floor and bolt it down, so it would be a bit harder to pickup and haul it out.

We planted a 10'x20' garden this year. So far my wife has canned 20 pints of green beans, frozen a boat load of cabbage and the tomatoes are just starting to come in. Our collard greens got demolished by bugs and the zucchini croaked(thankfully!). 12 cabbages are to much for 3 people to use!

Try some rubber grips, either uncle mikes or pachmeyer compacts. both are pretty small. My wife uses a 3" model 36 with the pachmeyer compacts. Makes it a lot easier on da pull over the stock little weenie grips. Most shops will let you slap on a pair before purchase.

I can't believe no one has offered to trade you a gun for your girlfriend like Dr Alarms mentioned. Of course with some of the women I've come across, you might be getting a dang good deal!
