I have two of them in stainless. You will never wear them out, and with a little work trigger pulls can be made lots better.

Taking a bit of sandpaper to the mold marks on the frame helps out a bit. The recoil is better when the old seams aren't grinding your skin off!

Just fly allegiant and save yourself the hassle. I am in Fl now just flew down on the 14th, going home the 24th. Total cost round trip was $129.00, I didnot check bags, had one carry on as well as my laptop. I flew into Sanford airport, beginning 2/1 they will be flying int Orlando Intenational at the same price. Airtran also flies Knoxville to Orlando for just a few bucks more.

Look on the ruger forum, and check under the topic ongoing sales or auctions. There is a fellow who goes by 41 nut that I have purchased inserts from. He has a web link. Let me know if you have trouble finding it. His inserts are reasonable and done well. He will also use customer sent wood if you have a piece you really like.

I paid $175 for mine and was very happy with the deal!

Mine was for a long barreled S&W "N" frame. The guy that did mine basically added about a foot of leather to the end of all the straps. It didn't take long and it was cheap at the time.

Had an LDA CCO but sold it to a friend who refuses to sell it back to me!

Thinking you could buy a good bit of ammo for what the conversion parts and fitting will end up costing you. Probably find another decent used Glock in 9mm for not a whole lot more.

Not to worry about being swept by the shooter. All firearms used have frame mounted safeties installed!

The sumps on the 100LL truck provided well for me during my younger years!
