  1. It doesn't get better with time either! Maybe just get guns with longer barrels? I went the trifocal route myself. No ta perfect solution but usable. Tried progressives and took them back.
  2. Alright guys, step up and lets do this! With TGO approval of course.
  3. Obviouslely you have met my wife!

    SNOW !!

Just started in the Jefferson City area. Big ol honkin flakes. Melting as soon as it hits due to the rain.
  5. Was it a special order or does someone stock them in the area?
  6. We are on our 4th Doberman. All but one have come from rescue groups. All 4 of them have thought they were lap dogs. All were/are intensely loyal and protective of their people. My oldest son learned to walking holding the stub of our dogs tail and following him around the house. They do like attention from thier people and will usually find a way ot get it. ie sitting in your lap when you pretend to ignore them. Kind of looking for another one now, just don't tell the wife. She just loves surprises!
  7. Never played with one of them. May have to have one.
  8. I have gone to Kershaws, Chive and Onion, almost exclusively now. U.S. made and less than $50.
  9. My local shop owner was told to expect about a 20% in the next month or so by his distributor.
  10. Did someone put there panties on backwards tonight or what, Lighten up Francis + 27!
  11. I think thats the best idea. I saw some laminate that looked like slate the other day at Lowes. Wish they would have had that around when we decided to tile our house.
  12. Nother mailman? Heck! One more and we can start our own gang!
  13. What? No BEEGEE's? Seriously guys!
  14. Not a problem. You just need to buy the double shoulder rig on Gun Owners Club web site. Then you can carry both guns, spare mags, couple knives, 6 throwing knives etc.
  15. Frozen thin mints and a cold beer! Nothin better.
  16. I am thinking it is probably going to cost more to try and get the gun back, than just replacing it.
  17. Normally if someone makes me an offer insultingly low on a firm priced item, I tend to just tell them pizzoff! It seems to be pretty effective so far. That said. I normally don't post my items with a firm price.
  18. Little bit nicer than the CVA kit I put together years ago. Not much, but a little.
  19. It was probably purchased at a Taxi Show, using the well known Taxi Show Loophole!
  20. Mine was a 4" Security Six in stainless. I sold it to a buddy of mine. If he sells it, i have first dibs on it.
  21. So I bought a Smith model 22a. Thinking I might want to put a red dot sight on it for playing. I quickly see they start around $40 and go well past $300! Somebody give me the scoop on them. Ones that work, ones that suck, etc.
  22. Only thing I do is run a cleaning patch down the barrel with a little solvent on it to clean out any grease etc. Only dunk I can think of would be in a bucket of parts cleaner of some sort. Never found it neccessary for my stuff though.
  23. I have seen some of the Phillipene produced 1911's in nickle for around $500. Metro Arms maybe? Looked nice, don't know how the finish will wear though.
  24. Actually, we have already had one that I recall.
