I hear your pain brothers, 6'-7" and 325. All people with a waist as large as mine are not 5'-2"! Been trying to find some dress pants for a wedding and nobody keeps anything with more than a 32" inseam, most only carry up to a 30"!

Agree on needing some photos. Is there a letter in front of the 4140 on the grip base? Does the cylinder swing out for reloading or does it tip up?

If you don't mind stainless, the 629's seem to be a bit more reasonable.

Now that you mention it, I have seen very few for sale in my travels. Lots of Rugers, very few Smiths. The few Smiths I have seen were all a couple hundred dollars over priced.

I try to use bullet holder thingies also when I go to shops and shows. I like to be corrected and see the true gun pros cringe before they start their long , corrective narrative!
