  1. There is a group that operates out of Knoxville. They use the name Honor Air. They fly out of TYS about once a month or so.
  2. Excellent cause for sure. I was in the terminal one evening for their return, the looks on their faces when they were greeted with cheers and songs by a nice crowd of people was a very memorable experience for me.
  3. Right with you in the commute. 45minutes to get to work, an hour plus to get home. I ask myself the same question you do, on a daily basis. Would love to quit but have to much time invested now. I am gonna have to ride it out a few more years.
  4. The only problem you may have is if the photos were professionally taken. Some places will not copy them because of copyright issues. If they are just personal snapshots then you shouldnot have any problems.
  5. Wow! the Post Office only gives us a can of aerosol pepper spray approved by the Humane Society. It works pretty well as my son who shot himself in the face with it will attest. Might be worth a try for the Austin PD folks.

    Opinions on Kel-tec

I must be lucky, I have had two P-9's and two P3AT's, all have worked fine!
  7. Well this sucks! Sure would like to chat with the idiots that have nothing better to do than this crap!
  8. By local health food store, I meant locally owned, not a GNC or Vitaminland type place. We have a small sole proprietor store here in town. The owner is very knowledgable on herbs and their various benefits. She also knows what will and will not grow in our area. Skip the chainstores and talk to people that actually have some knowledge on the products they carry.
  9. Hit your local health food store for info. They can entertain you for hours on the benefits of natural herbs etc.
  10. Nope, but she can call my little brother in FL and get it, should I wake up dead someday.

    XP 100

I had one of the original XP100's in 221 fireball years ago . It was lots of fun to shoot, one of those that I got rid of for something better. Probably a Glock or some other new piece of plastic fantastic!

  14. Never screw with a man carrying a pink gun!

    Hey Mike.357!

Can't believe that is the same person!
  16. I would think a call to your local code enforcement/ bulding and zoning office would be the first step.

    Kimber Solo?

Has anyone seen one or had the chance to play with one? Looking into a new carry gun and wanted to get opinions on these. Of course if there are none to be found, then it really doesn't matter.
  18. I am thinking all that water in South Florida will be full of mosquitos this summer. Thats where the real protection is coming from!
  19. I think that somewhere on their website there is a way to send an email directly to the chairman of Ruger. Apparently he does actually read at least some of them. Several people on the Ruger forums I frequent have had pretty good luck getting situations similar to yours straightened out.
  20. In this case I think we are our on worst enemies. Panic buying and hoarding ammo/supplies/guns starts its own vicious cycle of shortages.
  21. I thought it was for the same reason women twirl their hair at stop lights.
  22. I have seen it on a bunch of other forums. Hopefully they will slow down and get their quality control back up to speed again.
  23. Grits were also a staple at our fish fries, even better when mom would load them up with cheese!
  24. I bet real cowboys didn,t shoot pansy bullets!
  25. Growing up in Florida it was always hushpuppies with fish. Usually mullet because my parents didnot like freshwater fish. I didnot like fish so I usually only ate the puppies, slaw, beans etc.
