    School Fees?

I am fairly sure my property taxes will more than pay for my son and several others but thanks for the offer Strick. My wife will also send a check in for the additional fees. I will continue to beech about it, it has somewhat turned into a back to school tradition!
  5. Anyone elses child come home from public school with a list of fees that are required? My son, starting 10th grade this year, came home with a list that reminded me of a chinese menu! General fee-$20 Media fee- $5 Math fee $10 Biology fee- $10 Language - $10 I am sure there are more that will be squeezed in once school actually starts. No where on the rate sheet do they ever mention these fees are not allowed to be charged according to Tennessee Codes. I'm sure they will be less than impressed with me when I decline to donate to them this year!
  6. Oh you are a sharp one aren't you big fella?
  7. Had to support them today. Couldn't get near any of them yesterday!
  8. I still hold doors open for people and get strange looks, but it was the way we were raised. Better not let mom or dad see you not act like a "gentleman" when in public. When we were at home it was a completely different matter. I still demand that my children use common courtesy when out in public.

    Prayers requested

Way to soon to leave. Thoughts and prayers for your family.
  11. They probably needed that money to begin turning their lives around.
  12. If you can get it for a decent price, grab it. As it has already been noted they are excellent guns. Just don't pay a premium for its "custom" finish.
  13. To a collector an after market nickle finish would seriously lower the value of the gun. I was under the impresssion they were all blued. I can't get to my book to double check that for you right now. Do you recall if the hammer and trigger were also nickled or were they blued or case hardened?
  14. I am sure all the legal bills from the lawsuits will really help their budget out.
  15. Win or lose, those guys are in for a long, miserable, expensive future!
  16. I believe the video has been posted online now. Saw it somewhere earlier but can't find it now!
  17. The obvious answer here is to outlaw hoodies!
  18. My wife does our canning. Mainly does vegetables from garden. She got her new jumbo pressure cooker from Amazon for a lot less than we could find locally.
  19. If it is any help, I sold my 625 last year for $700. Had a beat up box and a handful of moonclips.
  20. All this talk makes me glad I don't like them!
  21. Not to worry, we will just print up another batch!
  22. Where ever you end up will be better than where you are now! Anything south of Stuart, I wrote off a few years ago.
