To the best of my knowledge, 40 cal pretty well killed it off.
  2. Gentlemen, please, it was a symbolic arrest! It's for the children in the long run.
  3. Gee, another drunk, hypocritical, politician! Who would have guessed?
  4. A hole in the wall?
  5. The only winner in this case will be the attorneys. I bet they are already grinning at the expected legal fees.
  6. I seriously doubt that the trailer is going to be salvageable. I know my freezes weren't after the last hurricane I rode out in Fla.
  7. H&h will not do transfers. He did at one time but now will absolutely refuse to do them.
  8. Nobody in Jefferson City will transfer for you. Closest is either Morristown or Sevierville.
  9. He just sent me a text that the helicopter flight to the high school was on the news tonight. He was so excited he couldn't quit sending me messages. I looked for the clip online, but couldn't find it. I can't say enough about his JROTC program. Without it I seriously doubt that he would ever graduate high school.
  10. If you are on I40, you will hit a traffic back up well before you get to exit 407. Usually it will back a mile or two before you get there.
  11. My son, who is a Senior this year called a little while ago to tell me about his day today. My son is in the JROTC program at his high school. Today they had an assembly to meet and greet two MOH recipients from the Vietnam War. If I understood him correctly via long distance cell call, he met two gentlemen by the name of USMC Vargas and US Army Fritz. Both gave speeches and took the time to meet and greet the Cadets. It was apparently covered by a television station so he is watching the news for a glimpse of himself.
  12. Goldfish as earlier stated are filthy. They produce lots of ammonia. If you add an ammonia remover to your filter you can keep a little heavier load. One or at most two small Oscars and a couple catfish for clean up would also work.
  13. Does First Fidelity Bank of Nashville still exist? I am currently in Fl caring for my father with dimensia/Alzheimer's problems. Looking through some of his possessions I came across a mechanical bank in the shap of a rocket. It has a sticker on it with the above name on it. I would guess it was a giveaway for opening an account or making a deposit etc. it is about a foot tall and the date stamped on it is 1957. No idea when or where he got it, just kind of neat and it still works well.
  14. In for one. The boy and my son in law will enjoy it.
  15. Believe it or not, food will barely get past that big lump in your throat! My oldest son is 26, my daughter is 23. both are in college, I think I worry about them and miss them more the older they get. The 18 year old is another story all together. Although, I am sure as he moves in his own direction the same feelings will surface.
  16. Feel free to mail it my way should you get tired of it. It's a beautiful knife!
  17. I was wondering if he had done any improvements or modifications to it after you traded it to him.
  18. I was going to be a smart butt as usual and tell you that you were stupid to buy it, when you could just sharpen a crushed coke can. I think we have flogged that dead horse enough though, so I won't say it.
  19. If it is any consolation your birthdays will start coming around a lot faster now.
  20. That's a big damn knife! Your hand adds a lot of perspective to its size . It'll never be a tactical "coke can" but it will probably get the job done. If you are the materialistic type person. I would be proud to have that one in my collection.
  21. Just tell everybody it's highway miles. Everybody knows they don't count anyway.
  22. Call me different if you will, but I like that knife much better than a sharpened lawnmower blade or a stomped coke can. That's just me though.
  23. Is it made in Pakistan?
  24. Sounds like a replay of the HCP class I took at Dandridge PD. No one needs an Ar except law enforcement, their is no need for a magazine with more than 7 or 8 rounds, if the Brady Bill was still in effect, Sandy Hook or Gabby Gifford would have never taken place, blah blah, yak yak, BS!
