  1. Sub 2000 and never look back. much more compact and super reliable... i'm looking for one myself... they are listed on HR1022 so if you want one, you better get it now
  2. for big game, i love my Winchester Model 70 for the longer stuff, and i love my Marlin 30TK for the thicker areas... for ducks, dove, turkey, rabbits, and squirrel i'll have a Mossberg 500 in my hands...
  3. Hey guys, where is the best place to get good deals on Glock magazines? they dont have to be new...just good condition. i'm needing a few G17 mags and a few of the 33rd factory G18 mags... thanks!
  4. mind if i ask what the price on it was?

    Kel Tec RFB

has anyone seen the Kel Tec RFB? whats the story on this gun? these look awesome!!!
  6. thanks guys for all the replies...i'm thinking very seriously about picking one up...
  7. Hey guys, anyone out there have a PLR-16? how does it shoot? are you happy with it? worth the money? i've been thinking about grabbing one...so many guns i want and so little money to get them all with... thanks!
  8. sweet, its hard to beat a S&W snub for a carry gun. i have a 37 Airweight that rides along with me quite often. a 642 with no lock is on my "To Get" list for sure. nice find!
  9. so has anyone out there tried the Glock light on an AR rail?
  10. i think they would work great on the 2 legged snakes as well! i've wanted one for a while, just never have the cash when i find one for sale...
  11. Hey guys, this might be a stupid question but here goes...will a factory Glock Tac Light fit on the RIS rails on an AR-15 forend? a buddy of mine and myself were talking tonight and were wondering if it would. he is in the process of building an EBR and wanted to use the light from his G17 nightstand gun on the AR if possible...i dont have alot of AR experience so i didnt know... if it wont, whats the best flashlight setup for an AR that doesnt cost an arm and a leg? thanks!
  12. you cant go wrong with a Remy or a Winchester, but i prefer Mossbergs (namely, the 500's). they are tough as nails, will take a beating and keep on ticking. i have 3 and love them for everything from hunting small game to deer/hogs to defense...hard to beat the scattergun!
  13. i think that was a G18 full auto and he had a forward mounted vertical grip on it. when he hit the full auto burst the vertical grip came off...shot himself in the hand, and he dropped the vertical grip on the ground...i think thats what Mike.357 saw on the ground...
  14. i've done this before...actually a few times honestly. now that i think about it, i need to go through the ammo closet and see what i've got with nothing to shoot it in...
  15. i love scatterguns for defense, especially home defense or close quarters... myself i prefer a good solid 12ga, but i'm a big guy and built to handle it. my wife just cant shoot the 12...even with reduced recoil law enforcement buckshot. she barely handles birdshot in the 12. i've tried a 20 for her, and its still just a little to much. she can perform surgery with her S&W .38spl, so thats what she uses for home defense. if she wanted a .410 for home defense, i would back it 100%. any long gun is better than any short gun...and like has been said a .410 is like getting 3 hits at the same time with a .38spl. i wouldnt want to be standing on the business end of a short barreled .410...
  16. yeah, maybe that is the problem. about all i can get comfortable in mine is a S&W J frame or a P3AT. heck, i can just put those in a pocket holster better... i'm not saying that they are useless. the only reason i wont get rid of mine is the few times we go to the beach for vacation, its nice to be able to walk down the beach totally concealed with just a pair of slip on shorts/swimming trunks. just dont plan on getting in the water with it on...
  17. i think this might be the best advice ever!!!
  18. with what you guys are talking about (922) is leaving the factory non-removeable 10 round mag in it but putting the TAPCO stock on an SKS legal? btw, thats a very slick looking SKS!
  19. i have one, i dont care much for it... not very comfortable and forget it if you want to sit down...
  20. i would not leave my gun in a hotel room at all, whether it was locked in a safe or not. i'd keep it locked up (probably in a locked case in the truck) in my car, and if thats not legal i'd unload it and lock the ammo up individually from the gun in the car. i use to travel alot and found that most of the room maids are nosey and like to go through things...
  21. when i get up and get dressed in the morning, there is always one in my pocket. lately its been a P3AT. i rarely belt carry (either IWB or OWB) one while i'm at home, but i have done that in the past as well. i also have a few scatterguns within easy reach...IMHO thats what a handgun is for at home...to fight your way to the long guns
  22. i cant get my wife to get hers, she says i carry enough guns for the both of us... gotta keep trying to get her to do it though...
  23. that link works...thanks! i was hoping for a smaller profile grip, something more geared towards CC and not hunting. that would be a nice addition to a 3" k frame .357 mag if the darn grip wasnt so big...
