i choose to go with the ESEE Izula Rat instead of the candiru.  the sheath is what did it for me.  i love my Izula, carry it every single day.  paracord wrapped the handle, although i have the micarta handles also.  i like the paracord better myself.  i love my izula so much i ended up ordering two extra stock sheaths off ebay for about $14 each, setting one up with a tek-lok for left hand carry, and one up with a tek-lok for right hand carry.  the sheath that came with it has a paracord neck lanyard on it that i can quickly remove and use that sheath for pocket carry for total concealment if needed.  i don't go anywhere without my izula...

You can say "not to single anyone out" but yeah thats basically what your doing. I've literally been living out of two backpacks with the flooding & snow that we've had the past couple weeks & working a 40 hour a week job on top of that. So yeah, you can say I'm making excuses but its been hectic.

I PM'ed spots back. As soon as i know who it goes to next it's on the way out. With all the crazy weather we've had lately I've been pulling 24 hour shifts at the fire dept. This knife is awesome!!! Unfortunately with all this rain I've either been trapped in the house or out soaking wet running firecalls (I'm a volunteer). Hopefully very soon I'll get to do some pics/vids & really try her out

i have a Buck 119 with the black handle on it and it is an awesome knife. it has been very serviceable and still has tons of life left it. There was a guy that was setting up at the gun shows in Knoxville making kydex holsters a few shows ago, I had him make me up a kydex sheath for it and i have a Tek-Lok ordered for it as well. I carry it in my hiking/INCH bag. i just love the 119!

Where's the best place to get stripped AR lowers? I've bought my last couple at gun shows but my brother is wanting to start a build & he's looking for somewhere to go. Looks like the next gun show in Knoxville is a ways off & he's not wanting to wait that long... Thanks guys, Chris

just curious if anyone is using these? i tried subscribing my google reader to a few of the forums, but cant get them to work. the only RSS feed i can get to work is the main page's feed. i've tried clicking on the RSS feed for the specific forums and i've also tried entering the url of the specific forums RSS feed into my google reader and it says "The feed being requested cannot be found." any ideas? thanks, Chris

hey guys, i'm looking for contact info for a gun store that sets up at all the gun shows. they were setup this past weekend (and normally the same place at the chilohowee show) as the last row over in front of the concession stand. they had a complete row, from one side of the building to the other. the owner is a younger guy, with a young blonde haired lady helping him. tons of handguns and rifles and ammo. anyone got their contact info? thanks! i pocket carry a S&W 642 all the time...and just recently started pocket carrying a G27 to replace the 642. the G27 carries just as easy for me as the 642 does...

Hey guys, i'm looking for a heavy duty range back...something that will hold 2 full size glocks and several (4 or 6) mags as well as room for other things. nothing to big, but not to small either. i'm not wanting a hardcase...any suggestions? thanks, Chris

Mugster, have you ever tried to sit still long enough and sweet talk one of these "birds" inside of 40 yards? its not the easiest thing to do...trust me...i've only been successful a handful of times out of alot of attempts. its not like we are talking ducks or doves here...those birds dont care to see movement. if a turkey sees movement...you can kiss him/her goodbye!

i've got a Camo 835 Ulti-Mag setup as a turkey only gun...well turkey hunting and card shooting matches is all it sees. although, the past few years i will say that i've been more successful with the Kroger + Card option! :-) LOL

i voted yes. i wouldnt leave it in there all the time, when i were home i'd transport it into the house. but i can see several instances where it would be nice to have a loaded shotgun/rifle available...like catfishing late at night on the lake banks, when i'm sitting right next to the jeep. i've been in several instances there that the Glock on my hip was comforting, but a good 12ga pump would have been very nice! a little common sense about concealing the long gun while in the car would greatly reduce the break-in's that people fear. plus i live in an area where that doesnt happen alot anyways, and i dont make a habit to go to those areas that it does happen...
