  1. Welcome neighbor - thanks for your service.
  2. Welcome from Cordova - my inlaws live in Oakland and we are always considering a move toward ya'll.
  3. I've got the M&P 15X and have shot around 200 rounds of the Wolf 62 gr. hp, I have had 2 FTE's and 1 FTF. The fail to fire took a few minutes to extract the round. It seems it was a failure in the feeding. Overall, I am very pleased with the gun. Incidently, this gun was packaged wrong from the factory. The box labeled it as an regular M&P 15; however I bought the gun with the quad rail. I researched and after talking to S&W it is an X mistakenly. I guess the only difference form the straight M&P and the X is the quad rail.
  4. The Obama administration had to reauthorize funding for them because these people are going to be our new medical care providers under his plan!
  5. Done - hopefully this bill will get shot down by the Supreme Court...highly unlikely though.
  6. Anyone ordered from Dynamic Armament before? How was the service?
  7. I just bought the TruGlow holographic sight and love it. You can't beat the price for the value. Here's a link: TRUGLO Holographic Red Dot Sight Red and Green 4-Pattern Reticle (15 MOA Peep, Crosshair, 3 MOA Circle Dot, 5 MOA Dot) with Integral Weaver-Style Base Matte - MidwayUSA
  8. I have read that too. I'd like to find someone that has used this set up.
  9. I enjoyed it as well. I've added it on the old dvr to record the season. Damages is also pretty good. I've been watching it for several seasons now.
  10. Does anyone have a Walther P99 compact? I am trying to find a IWB leather holster for this gun.
  11. I got mine back from Remington about a week ago and they replaced the carrier release. Waiting to take it to the range and try it out.
  12. I have to vote for my Walther P99. It is so comfortable I bought a compact version too.
  13. That's what I was referring to, the disassembly. I would think that would be a big advantage.
  14. I recently bought the Sub2000 in 9mm and shot it last week for the first time. I found it difficult to get my cheek down on the gun to view the sights. I had no problem seeing the front sight but aligning it with the rear was difficult. It shot good and even with this slight issue my grouping was good at 50yrds. I had the 33 rd. 9mm Glock mag which made it even more fun to shoot.
  15. What manufacturer? That brings up another thing...some cans are able to be cleaned and some aren't. I would think one would have to be cleaned over time to maintain efficiency.
  16. Yeap, it is a nice one. Anyone have experience with the quick attach/detach device? It appears it is designed to save your threads and make attachment quicker. Does the birdcage attach to the thing when the suppressor is not in use?
  17. The great outdoors! One of my favs... Why didn't you do something? They had a lot of weapons mister, and they were shootin bullets!
  18. Any suggestions on a can? I am looking at three now. Tactical Solutions (Karma 5), AAC (M4-2000), and AWC (Raider).
  19. Question - I am thinking about buying a suppressor for the AR in 5.56mm. I have also heard that it could be used on a .22LR as long as the gun has the same thread pattern. Can anyone give me some positives and negatives of using a 5.56 suppressor on a .22? I assume it won't be as efficient. Has anyone done this before? Thanks
  20. I am right handed and left eye dominant. I have to do something like this or close my left eye when shooting. I have been told I need to learn to shoot left handed when shooting shotguns. I can't seem to get used to that. I still do pretty good shooting clays, still have to keep my left eye closed.

    "CHARGE!!!"

Sounds like something you'd hear on the Young and Elder show.....only here in Memphis.
  22. Range USA hands down. I too shoot at both facilities and always feel more valued as a customer at Range USA. Scott Kilby has always been pleasant to do business with, and he has done good at making his business excel. Does anyone remember when it was Whitten Arms? What a difference it is now.
  23. Yesterday, I bought the Ruger SR-22 after comparing it to the S&W 15-22 and Colt/Walther/Umarex M4 .22. I liked the feel of the SR-22 and the 10-22 mags are so easy to find.
  24. I bought a new 11-87 last fall and just shipped it back to Remington today due to an autoloading problem. I work at a facility that has several 11-87 guns and the new gun had a different carrier release on the bottom. It was longer than the other guns we have. What I found is that in the cycle as the shell comes out of the magazine it hangs momentarily on the carrier release. This shuts the whole process down with the carrier in the open position. I believe that Remington made the release longer to be able to push the shells in easier. This is probably the case on your Mag version. Ours are not mags so they may have just put the wrong release on the gun. Anyway, it should still be under warranty.
  25. Cordova - I dropped a pin on it last night.
