When I first got my XD I bought a Blackhawk Serpa holster not realizing how far it sticks out with the paddle. I ordered a Kholster and tossed the Serpa in the nightstand and though nothing of it until the other day. I retrieved the packaging switched the paddle for the belt clip or whatever you wanna call it. For the past three days I have been using the Serpa with an untucked t shirt that covers all but the last inch of the holster. At first I was always checking to see if my shirt was covering it etc but as I have gotten more and more used to it I have noticed I don't check it nearly as often. I have also noticed that it is a lot more comfortable to carry as well in the same 3 o'clock position. Just this morning I went to UPS to drop off a big package and while unloading the package and me not noticing until I got back in the car that I saw my shirt had ridden up behind the gun exposing it all in the store in front of workers and other customers and not once did I get a stare, second look, or a freakout. I feel OC is more down to the actions and attitude of the the person carrying that will land you the negative responses. If you go in acting like a dumbass then you will probably draw unwanted attention, but if you go in like nothing is going on and not drawing attention to yourself by constantly messing with your shirt etc then most people wont even notice or as was said in another thread they may notice but just don't care. Anyways, that is my and my recent POSITIVE experience.
