I love spicy foods, but there's a limit. The hottest Indian or Thai food I've had wouldn't be anywhere close to the heat the owner says is in the sauce on his burger. For my taste "hot enough" would be 5 stars at a Thai restaurant or the amount of heat in Hattie B's hot chicken or even the Blazing Hot wings at Buffalo Wild Wings. The degree of heat in this gimmick burger is just silly to me.

I managed or worked in pizza joints for almost 13 years. It was years after I quit before I could even look at a pizza again. Light sauce, pepperoni, onions, and tomatoes.

Nothing against the original, but I think Nolte's version of Sam was more interesting. Mitchum is always awesome, though. I loved him in the remake too. His best scene: http://www.anyclip.com/movies/cape-fear/implications-to-kill-cady/#!quotes

Way too hard to pick one favorite, but among the ones that I ALWAYS stop and watch EVERY time I see them on TV (even though I own them on DVD/BluRay): 1) Pulp Fiction 2) Cape Fear (with Nolte and DeNiro) 3) To Kill a Mockingbird (did you know that's Rober Duvall as Boo Radley?) 4) Boondock Saints

It loads for me too..it's basically just a 12 second clip of them passing and acknowledging one another as one enters and the other exits the general store

Rhetorical questions: Who pays $800 for a sign? Who pays $800 for a sign and sells it for $600? Would anyone really want that sign bad enough to give up a quality semi auto pistol?

Ugly is relative, but so is my brother-in-law. Personally, I don't like it, yet I still want to shoot one, LOL.

The only difference between that gun sitting in the OP's safe for 8 months and it hanging on a wall at Outpost Armory is that in his safe it was handled less and likely kept cleaner/exposed to less moisture. Yet, most stores and manufacturers have nothing but "time since purchase" to measure their perceived liablity. As a member of the "$hi+ comes up that takes precedent over going to the range" club, I can see it happen. However, knowing about the clock running from the day I purchase, I've always made time to test a new gun within 2 weeks of purchase. If nothing else, the fear of losing money will motivate me enough to make it a priority. But, that's just me. I'm lucky to have grown kids, a wife that's glad to get me out of the house, and few other responsibilities. Bottom line is that if Outpost had that gun in inventory for a year before it sold, the clock wouldn't start ticking. A consumer should be able to have the confidence in a purchase that extends past first-use, whether that first-use is the day after purchase or a year later.
Its on stewarts ferry pike at the I40 exit between the airport and hermitage. Exit 217? Its next to the Mapco on the south side of the interstate. Great lunch buffet
I used to go there a lot when I worked nearby. Their lunch buffet IS good! They have some awesome pasta dishes, meatballs, pizzas, and even salad, if you're into that kind of thing.

Do any of you feel anxious when you carry?
BigK replied to bird333's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
So much good advice and truths here, I hesitate to add anything short of expanding upon the comments about selecting the right gear. Unless you've been around those who carry for a while, you'd never know how important something as simple as a proper belt and correctly fitting clothing really are for EDC. They are the cornerstones of comfortable concealed carry. Once you get that first really good, stiff, thick belt that feeling of anxiety will dwindle quickly. -
I love everything about it. Easily the coolest knife I've seen.

If the Pepper Palace ever closes, Bass Pro will rarely see my face. I like looking around, but they don't warrant a trip to the mall all by themselves. The Pepper Palace, on the other hand, is worth the trip!!!

yeah, so what are they? they look delicious, but I must have missed the prior reference ...do tell?

It's hilarious how the over-zealous nutjobs on OUR side are causing us more trouble lately than the over-zeolous nutjobs on THEIR side. WTF good can come of toting rifles into a big box retail store to cause a scene...just because you can?

Considering his wife is also a renown shooter and now his daughter is moving up in the ranks, I'd say he's doing it right! He shoots every kind of gun imaginable in his videos too and is damned good with all of them. I know I'd love to spend a week with him just soaking in some of the knowledge he's gathered over years.

I got one that's so scared of fireworks that you can't get her to go out to potty after dark for days after she hears them. Poor lil gal.
-
I'd argue that nothing he does is "wrong", LOL. The man is about as high on the shooting food chain as you can get and still improving, even at his age. Judging by how little that S&W 500 moved in his paws, he must have the grip-strength of a mountain gorilla.
-
For $15, I'm thinking about it.
-
What impressed me the most was the unorthodox grip he used. In his intial 3-shot string he used a normal revolver grip, but when he changed it up, his strong hand thumb was NOT wrapped around the backstrap!!!! That man has hand strength that would make anyone jealous. To be able to hold that beast of a gun still for that many shots without even wrapping your thumb around the gun is just crazy.

Glad you found some help. Good luck with your project.

I made me a crossbreed style holster for mine. It's very comfy. The other 2 in the pic below are Bianchi holsters and are darn comfy as well.
