  1.   It's Nashville and Shoney's is near the airport. I'd be surprised if you're the only one wearing a cowboy hat, LOL.
  2. I'm definitely in!! Not as interested in coaster size. Morale patch real estate is seldom big enough for such large patches.
  3. Wow! Did you ever hit the nail on the head here! Poverty, drugs, and unemployment are just symptoms of what ails many black communities. In the 1940's the illegitimacy rate in the black community was only 14%...today it is 70%! Where are these kids learning how to be adults? I think too many of them would rather emulate Lil Wayne and Soulja Boy than a real role model like Mos Def or Will Smith.
  4. I attempted a couple of the adjustable back chairs like this a couple of summers ago. The geometry alone was tough to pull off and they were just chairs, not a rocker. So, I commend you on the stringer/rocker work they look very sturdy. I bet an outdoor furniture store in Brentwood or Franklin could easily get $1K for one of those, especially if it were hardwood instead of pine. Find a store like that and see if they do consignment on the first one and if it sells fast, they might be willing to buy from you and sell at a mark-up to their existing customers.

    Radical Firearms

I know a lot of people who bought their products on Primary Arms. We're all happy with the products. You guys are the first I know that have dealt with them directly. I need a 10.5" 5.56 barrel and they'd be my first stop, if the customer service issues are a fluke instead of the norm.
  6. village idiots everywhere are embarrassed
  7. I've been around PBs, including my own, that I'd bet my life would never bite a human that didn't deserve it. However, I've heard too many "the dog just snapped" stories not think there's something to it. I still think it's got more to do with nurture than nature, though. If there was any generalization about a breed of dog that I DO agree with it's this one... I've never met one I liked and I've net met one that liked anyone but his owner. My mother-in-law moved in with us a few months ago. She brought one of these foul beasts with her. That little evil dog snarls, barks, and growls every time I walk into or leave the room. I, for one, will NOT be growled at by a dog in my own house. So, when I enter the living room and that dog growls, I will walk directly over to her, pick her up from my mother-in-law's lap and tell her no. I flip her over, forcing her belly up, and pet her belly. I guess I exude alpha hormones or something, because she ceases growling when I get within a few feet. Yet, no matter how many times I do this and/or bring her a treat and/or ignore her...this little dog just won't stop.
  8. Whoa! Careful there, dude. Now you're getting into some territory where the BATFE might get involved. I'm sure some nit wit will send them a letter asking for a ruling about Mag Flipping PMags vs GI vs frangible Thermolds and get this whole thing shut down.
  9. Sounds like a bargain! Can I pay you in .22LR ammo?
  10. The biggest exaggeration in marketing is Hardee's actual customers vs the chicks in the commercials.
  11. Some people might be surprised how time they spend building those TV commercial sandwiches. Spritzing lettuce with vaporizers to make it look wet and fresh, calipers to measure tomato slices, phDs in Geometry arranging things on the bun to make it look thicker, etc. It's a scam
  12. Are you kidding? ERRYBODY knows the zombies and the terrorists are in cahoots. It'll be a carefully orchestrated attack. Step 1: take out power grid; Step 2: send in the zombies. Edit: On a serious note...to shore up all the security holes in our power grid alone would cost more money than ANY politician, even a Democrat, is willing to ask for in tax increases.
  13. I don't see how you can sleep at night, knowing you are no longer welcome at that Arby's. LOL
  14. That really brightened my Christmas Eve, thanks for posting it!
  15. I wish I hadn't seen this. Now I'm all grouchy and hate my over-priced scope! If it wouldn't take them 3 weeks to send me a replacement, I'd return mine and re-order it at $50 off.
  16. What? Nobody asked why the officer didn't just shoot him in the leg?
  17. There's no doubt in my mind that a large percentage of America actually believes $15/hr would fix this. I happen to be one of them...yeah, I said it! Here's how it'd work... 1) If McDonald's paid $15/hr, they'd attract very competent employees, who'd actually fear losing such a good paying job enough to do a good job. 2) All the current fast food workers wouldn't qualify, so they'd wind up on welfare/food stamps, like the Dems want (more votes from captive audience). 3) This thug wouldn't have been there to start with, because he could no longer afford McDonalds due to price increases to cover the staggering labor costs. 4). The people who COULD afford the over-priced crap they serve would go elsewhere and eventually McDonald's would go out of business, freeing up thousands of acres of prime real estate that would undoubtedly be snatched up by tobacco marts, check cashing joints, and places to get your nails did. /sarcasm
  18. What a bunch of idiots! I know the herd of onlookers hadn't seen the video yet, but you don't show up acting like wild animals without some facts. Fireworks at a gas station? REALLY!? The idiot who did that deserves federal prosecution! As usual, I'm sure no amount of evidence will satisfy these people.
  19. I'd like to buy that homeless guy a hot meal and a bottle of cheap booze...he deserves it!!
  20. This is where I think many stand on the issue. I'd imagine many of us are glad this scumbag isn't alive for his 15 minutes of fame. Even more are probably also glad he saved the taxpayers the expense of his trial and incarceration. However, with nobody alive to punish, a lot of us feel helpless and unsatisfied. I won't pretend to speak for everyone, but it leaves me with a lot of hard feelings and nothing to direct that anger toward other than those idiots that support and defend this nutjob and the atmosphere certain politicians foster that contribute these kinds of cowardly, evil acts.
  21. I've seen worse color combos, LOL. I love it!
  22. The last few I picked up at the gun show for $10 each, thinking they were a bargain, were fairly rusty. These look nice, assuming the picture is accurate. I'm tempted to pick up a few, even though I don't really need them.

    My new CZ

If you want a rail and the metal frame, you still have choices. The P-01 is the compact with an aluminum alloy frame and the SP-01 is the full size. Both have rails and both are fantastic. P-01: SP-01: My SP-01 has the full-blown CZ Custom trigger job with competition hammer. The DA trigger feels like a S&W revolver from their performance center line-up, but with about a 1/8" reset due to the firing pin block being removed. Worth every penny, IMHO.

    My new CZ

The P-07 and P-09 have the Omega trigger system instead of the standard 75 trigger system. I don't know how they did it, but the pull is buttery smooth, especially in SA. IMO, it's the best SA/DA trigger system out of the box. Nothing this side of a tuned up 75 trigger even comes close. I bet you'd love it. Meprolight is the company that makes tritium night sights for the CZs. There are 2 models ML17777 (#5 height, standard) and ML17775 (#4 height, low profile). Both fit all CZ 75/85 models including compacts that have standard push in front sights. I have the low profile set on my P-01 and the standard set on my PCR. Unfortunately, the P-07/P-09 guns have proprietary sights that I've only seen on the CZ-USA.com website ($90'ish). It's hard to find them in stock, but it's getting better now that they have a relationship established with Mepro.
