1. My daughter's fiancee has one, the action and lockup are as good as any $100 OTF I've every handled. I offered to sharpen it for him to see how good the blade was, but he wanted to do it himself. Anyone with one know how well it takes/holds an edge?
2. forgot to ask...you guys think all animals are gone too? insects?
3. I thought it was funny...I got a huge kick out of the diving board, but my favorite part was the expensive bottle of wine with spaghetti O's     That's one of the best lines
4. I thought it was funny as hell...loved me some Dukes of Hazzard growing up
5. I've been wondering for 2 weeks now, why nobody in Rick's group hasn't brought up the odd construction of the walls around the community.   Why are the braces on the outside of the walls?   Are they built to keep something in or out?    If someone already mentioned this, sorry...I just haven't seen this brought up before.
6. I'm not offended at all, but then again, I'd like to think I didn't raise a kid capable of being recruited by ISIS. If anyone should be offended it's the parents who DID.
7. I used to be a paracord junkie. I had dozens of colors and 100's of feet of each. I actually started feeling like I had arthritis from making so much stuff. A good place to start is these 2 guys on YouTube: TIAT and Stormdrane. Here's a couple of the most recent things I've made: Personally, I'd rather work with the commercial grade paracord than the mil-spec stuff. It's more flexible and the ends melt more evenly. I got most of mine from ParaCord Planet. I wish they'd had this stuff when I was making stuff. It's got an added 8th inner strand that is treated with mineral oil, hydrocarbons, and other flammable substances, so that it can be lit easily with a spark.
8. I like #3 the most. I could see me carrying it on a belt instead around my neck though.
9. The gun owner prolly bought the gun thinking of all the funny YouTube vids he can make by letting some inexperienced noob shoot his gun. He needs his ass whipped.
10. I'm pretty sure a lot of us have been on the receiving end of some kind of perk for being friends with someone at a business before...a discount at a friend's store that everyone else doesn't get, a free cup of coffee when so-and-so is working at the restaurant, or even as simple as a heads-up that a gun you've been wanting will be in on Tuesday morning. Playing favorites with friends/family happens everywhere all the time. I'm not saying that makes it right, just that if we knew about every instance of it happening, we'd lose our minds.
11. Regardless of whether this Sheriff's comments were politically charged, at least it's a truth that is coming from another trusted public figure. Beats the old tired mantra that we need less guns.
12. solid sheet of ice out here in La Vergne near the lake my truck won't make it over the hill to get out of my neighborhood
13. I like a little bit of just about every kind of music, but this is my go-to band...
14. It's good to know I'm not the only one that doesn't like rails. I have some handguns with rails and I find myself liking the gun enough to put up with the rail, but always wishing it wasn't there.
15. EAA/Tanfoglio spends an enormous amount of money sponsoring pro shooters around the world and they do a great job at reacting to the feedback they get from them. I watched a show about them on The Sportsman Channel and it was impressive how high tech their factory was. They've really made some great improvements from the days when they were just a CZ clone mfg.
16. too funny...when the last shot bounced off the goal and still hit him, I almost peed
17. Last time I needed one and couldn't wait for it to be delivered, I drove over to OnTarget in Murfreesboro. They had 2 brands to choose from, IIRC. Not sure about Nashville, that was too far for me to drive.
18. If TWD were just zombie killing, survivalist stuff, and the like, my wife wouldn't watch it with me.
19.   Adrian's Undead Diary is an AWESOME read. I'd trade Daryl and Rick for Adrian any day.   Back to the flaws in TWD...I think the producers are focusing more on creating a character-driven drama than they are on a post-ZA action show. I'd prefer the latter, but there's no denying their success with taking the former route.
20. When politely offered an enthusiastic man hug, I routinely decline, but it's hard to be mad when you know their heart is is the right place LOL.
21. It's hard to tell with the naked eye, but a 9mm isn't straight-walled, like most pistol rounds. They are tapered from .394" at the rim to .380 at the case mouth (when properly crimped). I've had success with reloads as wide as .383" at the case mouth and as narrow as .379". When I start reloading a new caliber, I find a brand of ammo that all my guns like and use those measurements as a starting point when I first setup my dies. That always gets me in the ballpark the fastest.
22. FYI...The running time on this week's episode with all the commercials removed was 43:17, including the brief preview of next week. Imagine how boring this show would be if all the characters were automatons that went through the same motions in every scene. Nobody would watch a show about house clearing with zombie SWAT team precision. It'd be worse than NASCAR or golf. LOL
23. ooh, that would sting a bit Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
24. Pretty smart idea. Assuming his patent goes thru, somebody big will offer him a LOT of money to sell them his idea. I think it'd be one of those next big deal ideas like on Shark Tank if it got the kind of traction that somebody like Magpul or Butler Creek could license it and do it justice with some marketing. I know I want one. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
