1. I'll watch just about anything about WWII or any other military documentary for that matter. I'm disappointed I missed this. I'm guessing it'll re-air to give me another shot at it.
2. great performances in this thread...so far, love them all   here's one of my faves, Tim Thompson:
3. I could care less about grammer. Its less important then the messages thierself. And if u don't like your a "punk".
4.   Please let us see pics of the set in the sheath when it's done. I've been wanting to make a sheath like this for ages, but haven't run across a matching set of knives I wanted and could afford yet. Sounds like an awesome setup.
5. that's great! thanks
6. It'd be awesome to repair the original stock if possible. Might actually be easier than making a new one match the old one.
7. There won't be another in M'boro until December 19-20. I guess I better go, who's gonna twist my arm for me?

Bye Bye Bersa

Check out a CZ 83...it's nearly identical to the Bersa?

Ditto on the gun socks, my nicest guns stay in them too. I wish they were as nice as your Weatherby. That thing is a work of art. I see why you don't want to shoot it. It's almost too pretty, LOL.
10.     I had the same thought, go watch an IDPA match and see what it's like.      ^^This^^ is what the guys in Dickson talked me into doing instead and I had zero regrets.   Regardless of what kind of match you try first, you'll be glad you did.
11. As Jonnin said, some premium plated bullets have a thick enough copper layer to allow you to push them like JHP and they say so right on their website. Others with a more "economically viable" thickness, see what I did there?, recommend loading them like lead. Either way, I'd adhere to what the mfg says, assuming you want to push them as hard as safety allows and the mfg actually posts that data.   Even when I find the expensive plated bullets on sale, I load them about halfway between lead and FMJ, unless I see performance issues that require tweaks.

Novelty guns

I only paid $168 with tax and TICS about a year ago at the gun show.

Novelty guns

I have the .22 mag version. It's a fun little gun to shoot with a surprisingly AWESOME trigger. It'll reach on out there too. I shot mine @ 100 yds before and wasn't disappointed. I wish it folded down flat like a Sub 2000 does instead of folding into a "V" shape, but it still fits in a small backpack.
14. If a push dagger is something you think you'd like, I'd recommend trying one of these on for size before spending a lot of money. The Cold Steel ones I've seen feel surprisingly solid. There's a gun show coming up in Murfreesboro soon, if you wanna handle one before you commit. More than one vendor will have them in the $5 range.
15. nice looking knife..love those kind of scales   would you call that blade shape a drop point?
16. If a Crossbreed Supertuck isn't comfortable then you shouldn't waste any more time looking at IWB holsters...seriously.

Gotta have one

I remember when my ex-wife's brother was a brand spanking new rookie. He was a walking parody of himself. He actually got us pulled over ON PURPOSE one evening when we were riding around, just to flash his badge to get out of a ticket in order to impress me. Bless his heart.

Trigger Pull

Pardon my prejudice and the obvious stereotyping it takes to ask this, but I'm dying to know...what do your presumably liberal-minded professors think about the subject matter of your class project? Do they give you any $hi+ about having guns in your video?
19. That's incredibly awesome of you, Pete 123, and I sincerely appreciate the offer. Actually, I had an interview 3 days later and got hired for about 11% more than I was making at the last job. So, it really worked out in my favor after all.
20. I've been eyeing a Pendleton safe for years, but they're so darn expensive. These seem to be about half the price, but I can't help but consider how big of a safe I could buy for the same money.   I can't wait to hear what you think of yours when you get it.   In the meantime, I love to tinker around in the garage. There may be a lazy susan build in my near future, if I can find the parts I can't make myself.
21.   That's taking it way too far, IMO. In fact, I'd say the way they did you is borderline defamation of character.
22.   Sounds like you think the writing is on the wall, so to speak, where you are. If so, I think your short game is spot-on. Take as much with you when you go as possible and hopefully it happens on your terms. I've heard it said that staying in one job too long in IT is the kiss of death. Promotions are harder to get than better jobs; market value pay is hard to get without switching jobs every few years; and learning/applying new skills is hard when you've only had one environment to work in for a while.
23. A month or 2 ago IT recruiters were nagging the hell out me, but I told them I'm not looking. It was true, I wasn't looking. I loved my gig and had no intention of leaving for a LONG time. This was, after all, the best job I've ever had. I was doing what I love, getting paid a fair salary for it, and the work culture was everything I could ask for.   A couple of Mondays ago, I got an email from work at 6 pm at night, but I ignored it until a co-worker texted me to ask if I got an email too. When I checked, it was a damn "it is with deep sadness that we inform you..." email saying I was fired, because the company was losing money. My security access was revoked and by 8 pm, they'd shut down our email as well. Turns out 1/3 of the company got that same email and we were all truly blindsided by the news.   Moral of the story...strike while the iron is hot.
24. How the heck do you get enough leverage to work the bolt on that thing? LOL They tend to be hard enough to open as it is.
25. damn, that sucks   mind if I ask?...without an admission of guilt, how do they know the transfer took place on company property? video?    best of wishes on the job hunt
