So, you slide you gun under the seat to run in the DMV and you come out to find your window smashed, your car ransacked, and your gun missing. You drive to Walmart, buy a $20 lockbox, take it home and break into it with a screwdriver and pliers, then drive back to the DMV and call the cops to report it stolen. Problem solved, right? LOL

I'm still quite fond my my XDS 45 too. It's a lot of fun to shoot as well. There's just something very satisfying about this little gun that shoots that big ol .45acp.

I agree, she has feelings and should be treated with respect regardless of what she did or didn't do wrong to get herself into that condition and that's not just @bersaguy's opinion, it's a fact. -
I just started Tulsa King yesterday. I really like it! I also agree about Taylor Sheridan knowing what he's doing. He's got the Midas touch with TV series.

I've been in love my P-01 since the day we met. You have excellent taste in firearms, sir. -
Do you think a couple good whacks w/ a hammer might get a flat tip screwdriver to wedge into the set screw enough to twist it out?

How'd you know what I had for supper?

Thanks @Links2k, I found the long version too once I knew what I was looking for. What a terrible situation. I don't care what kind of information those officers were operating on, there's no excuse for treating an old lady like that. She was clearly not well and I'd love to hear how the ER justifies kicking her out and calling the cops on her. -
I don't have one for sale either, but like @mikadosoft I also like CZs. That's a very generous offer of him to let you test drive his CZs. I hope you take him up on it and report back what you think. The ergonomics are great, reliability is legendary, and about as easy to shoot as anything I've ever handled. If you like hammer-fired guns, I'd bet you fall in love with them. Just be careful they tend to multiply. I started with a CZ 82 then over the years it spawned a CZ 52, SP-01 (owned this one twice, LOL traded then traded to get it back), 2 Phantoms, a Shadow, a 97 BD, a RAMI, a PCR, 2 Scorpions, and a P-01. I am an unapologetic fan-boy.

That's one of the coolest guns I ever had. It wasn't very comfy, but I could shoot it well. It was a lot of fun too; loud and hot are what I recall most. So much so, that I started reloading milder rounds for it. I traded the gun, the aftermarket parts, extra mags, and reloading dies/supplies for an Enfield .303 that was so clean I never shot it.

I went with a vehicle-specific lock box that mounts with the OEM seat bolts kind of like this one. Several companies make them, but Bestop & Tuffy are the my favorites.

When hesitation almost gets you killed

I don't know anyone who's been in LE that long, so I hope you don't mind me asking a question. As an ignorant civilian, I worry that the endless negative media reactions, constant biased scrutiny (guilty until you can prove yourself innocent), and the revolving door of justice (letting really bad guys out too early) is taking a toll. I can't help but guess it makes the best cops leave early, the kind of people the would be good cops look to other careers, and what we're left with is not enough good guys out there. Do you think it's getting better or worse out there? -
I know you're touting the caliber not all guns in this category, but the only .32acp I've ever shot is my Kel-Tec P-32. I almost gave up on it because it choked on every single hollow point I ever tried. It was literally a single-shot pistol w/ hp ammo. Luckily .32 acp ball ammo suited me just fine for SD.

Hey, just realized I hadn't seen anyone comment on the sore thumb. When I shoot Glocks I get this too. I have short fingers and Glocks have thick grips. To get my trigger finger in the right place the beavertail/backstrap isn't in the web of my thumb and palm like it should be. It winds up touching that joint in my thumb. I've had training days and match days where I shot so many rounds that I was bleeding from there. If I move the Glock to the right spot, I literally cannot reach the front of the trigger. I guess I could've gotten gloves, but chose to switch brands instead. Plenty of other brands have grips that are narrower and shorter to fit my tiny paws.

I wasn't even aware this show was based on a game. I keep forgetting how HUGE that segment of the entertainment economy is that gaming storylines become movies and TV shows. Regardless, Hollyweird changes things about characters, plots, scenes, etc all the time, so it's not like they had to do the same thing the video game did. I doubt they've ever changed a gay character into a str8 character for a movie though.

Shooting accurately is a really simple 2 step process: 1. get a proper aim on the target and 2. pull the trigger w/out upsetting the sight picture before the bullet exits the barrel. There's a ton of variable in those 2 steps though, right? That brass on the slide exercise is worth its weight in gold to find/overcome the variables.

I've watched the original series about 3 times. It just doesn't get old for me. So, this is GREAT NEWS! I'm glad they got Timothy Olyphant back.

Sadly, they have the ultimate vehicle to haul their agenda into the future. If they flood entertainment with those images, most people will believe it's as common as something in widespread usage like say an AR-15s with a pistol brace when it's really only as common as something like .45 GAP.

This is a fairly decent show. I'll usually watch any kind of outbreak/apocalypse show or movie. I had to fast forward through some parts of episode 3, but overall it's a good show.

Last time we went to Gatlinburg all the shops that used to have local and handmade stuff was gone. It's was like Dollar Tree and a low-budget carnival had a kid.

I've seen some horrific damage/injuries when winch cables snap, so I agree with you on steel cables.
