It's only been 2 months and thieves got my card number again. This time they bought something online at Walmart.com for around $164. The reason this is so frustrating is that we lead a completely boring/routine life. My card has only been touched by someone other than me once in the last month at the Bojangles drive-thru. She only had my card for a few seconds and I could see her swipe it and hand it right back. Maybe it was a scanner at the gas station. Either way, this is such a pain in the rear. I'm more careful than most people I know with their card, but I've still been got twice in 2 months. I hate these thieving jerks.

I put the AOL "You've Got Mail" notification on my phone for when it get an email on one of my Gmail accounts.

My first name starts with a K and I'm anything but a little guy, so they started calling me Big K in HS.

There are some people coming here for a handout, but it's so few of them that it's intellectually dishonest and lazy to lump them together. Similarly, vilifying all illegal immigrants as drug mules and child sex traffickers is just a tool to dehumanize the whole group, so you'll hate them and think of them as the boogeyman. There's tons of good reasons to stop all illegal immigration. I just wish folks would remember that regardless of how people got here, they are human beings and most mean you no harm. They're just trying to make a better life for themselves. Who wouldn't do the same thing if you couldn't feed your family where you live?

Excellent comparison...both set high standards, follow-through on them, and get the results they aim for.

I gotta agree with @NoBanStan on the mustard part. I love mustard, but they drowned my burger in mustard. They way people talked them up, I thought I'd hear angels sing when I took a bite, LOL. Good, not great.

Need New Carry Flashlight - Suggestions appreciated

@Defender I have one of those LA Police Gear Tactical Operator L1 as well. Do you have to tap yours to get it to work? It's become ingrained in my memory by not that I have to tap that on before I turn it on, but it's still annoying. I have to tap mine end-to-end almost every time. -
Accelerating on demand up a long, steep hill maybe?

I share your hesitation about the carburetor. Honda makes a darn good bike. You can hardly ever go wrong with team red. I LOVE this idea of lengthening the swingarm to fit taller tires because that's one of the biggest factors for off-pavement riding. That was a really smart idea. At your size/weight I don't see a downside. It hasn't been long since Supercross and motocross stopped using 125cc bikes. In fact, last season or the one befoe a rider actually ran a 4-stoke 125cc in the 250cc class and did surprisingly well. I think you'll be too busy picking bugs out of your smile to have regrets, unless you plan to be making 30' jumps. I'm jealous, if I was 160lbs I wouldn't hesitate to get a 125cc trail bike.

@jaytex1969 I didn't even know Suzuki made a shaft driven bike back then. I almost bought another bike last year, but it had a chain and I promised myself I'd never do chain maintenance again. LOL It's hard to find anything besides a cruiser or a high dollar BMW that has shaft drive.

Good eye...very close, chain driven 1978 Suzuki GS100L. My uncle had it in a storage shed in his back yard. I bought it off him for $800 and sold it for $800 nearly 15 years later with high miles and lots of big maintenance due that I couldn't afford.

My skepticism is higher than ever after all the Whataburger let-down. Nonetheless, I'll probably still try In-n-Out when it opens, just to say I did.

@jaytex1969 Nowhere near as pretty as yours, but lasted forever (it was my only vehicle for almost 2 years).

I got a bag of beaver nuggets for Christmas. They have similar addictive characteristics to crack cocaine. If they come to M'boro, I'd make a trip just for the beef jerky I keep hearing about.

I've only bought one NIB CZ and it's trigger was a bit gritty for the first few hundred rounds. Since this is a clone, I'm shocked the Turks hit that price point and could still afford to polish all internals to get a smooth trigger.

I teach an ESL class at church on Monday nights. I find myself apologizing for all the stupid things we do in the English language every week. You should see the look on their face when I try to explain the differences in a list of words like: bot, bought, bough, bow, beau or try to explain the rules for carry/carried/carries vs play/played/plays.

Love that Suzuki. I used to have a GS. It was a great bike.

I've haven't come across that yet. I noticed text-to-speech apps get it right, but spellchecker doesn't correct it.

Law Tactical AR folding stock adapter question
BigK replied to BigK's topic in Gunsmithing & Troubleshooting
Turns out it was a burrs on the buffer retainer pin hole as suspected. My neighbor exchanged the folding adapter for a replacement today and the same pin went right into the adapter smooth as silk. The threads weren't reamed back like this pic, so they kinda created burrs in this hole. -
My neighbor brought over his Daniel Defense AR for me to help install a folding stock adapter. When I tried to install the buffer retaining pin, it wouldn't fit. I checked the mfg website and it says it takes a milspec part. The hole in the adapter where the pin goes just isn't wide enough. I reinstalled the stock parts and suggested he return it. I googled the issue and found nobody else with the same problem. I thought he might have ordered a fake online and didn't know, but he got it from Outpost Armory in M'boro, so I doubt it. I wish I'd taken pics to show you guys, but it looked like the threads that the buffer tube screw into were protruding into the cavity where the pin/spring go. Law Tactical has some good close-up pics online and it looks like the rim of that that hole has been cleared with a reaming tool. The part my neighbor had does NOT to be reamed. Would you guys have done anything differently?
