You're darn right social security is an entitlement and it always was! Let me tell you a lil' story... Once upon a time, "Generation A" was poor & broke due to their own poor decisions, like electing crappy politicians. Facing hunger and homelessness, they did what they always did...make more bad decisions. They send representatives to Washington that enact legislation that will take money from Generation B and give it to their constituents in Generation A. Despite warnings about the direction they headed and the unsustainable scope of the system, they continue to elect representatives to change the rules, replace funds with IOU's, and get more people hooked on big government to bolster their numbers. Now that there are more folks riding in the wagon than there are pulling. Those of us pulling are finally sick of the system. The ones who are now riding, had ample time/warning to keep the wagon from crashing. Instead of recognizing there's a problem, they're now justifying our sweat by complaining that if getting hosed was good enough for them all those years, it's good enough for their kids and grand-kids too.

Gen 4 grip is the only one I can get my paws around comfortably enough to shoot well. Otherwise, I don't see the hype about the differences.

A Dillon press is undeniably faster. I can't argue that, but... I got set up with every pc of equipment I needed (including digital scales and digital calipers) plus primers, powder, and 1000 bullets all for under $400. That was all I could afford up front and I don't regret buying my Lee turret press.

I've tried the Nemesis in regular Levi's or khakis and it was way too obvious. I prefer baggy Eotac or 5.11 type pants/shorts too, so it's not a problem. I just put it in a Don Hume IWB when I don't have big pockets.

Got mine, can't wait to try it out tomorrow.

I agree that it's a heavy gun, but I still pocket carry mine when I have loose fitting cargo pants or shorts. It doesn't feel much heavier than when it's iwb or owb. I use a DeSantis Nemesis and don't find it to be an issue, but I'm a big guy and I assume my pockets are bigger than someone's who wears a size 30.

The over-achieving a$$ holes at work today, thought it would be a great idea to conduct a fire drill at 2:30 in the afternoon. To make matters worse, we had to stay out there around 30 minutes too. I know I sound like a cry-baby, considering some folks have outside jobs, but I ain't used to it at all. Plus, 'business casual' and a 105 degree heat index do not work well together.

Maybe I've allowed myself to lulled into complacency by the election of so many Tea Party candidates in the House, but I don't see it happening. My thinking is just like what mav said...if it didn't happen when they had majorities in both houses of Congress and the Presidency, I don't think it will. In that embarrassing speech last night, BO whined that the rich (read: job providers) still have some money he wants to spend and he can't borrow more money to get out of debt b/c of the mean ole Republicans and that he'll be forced to redirect the 10% of the budget that goes to interest pmts (what defaulting really means) to pay for Soc. Sec. and the Military. I hope the House refuses to budge until 2012.

Exactly what I do too. After de-capping, cleaning, and priming I can get quite a rhythm going. I timed myself once and over a 10 minute stretch I was able to charge, seat, and crimp 60 rounds in 10 minutes. Not that I could hold that pace, but there's no way I could do more than 40 if I had to de-prime and prime also.

Pack'n Heat is a good one too. Officer Jeff Eady teaches it out of the BNA police office. I took my HCP class from him & a defensive pistol class too.

Like some others said, it's hard to beat a Lee turret press. I'm sure the other brands mentioned are just as good, but for what you get for your money...Lee is where it's at.

My dad would round off one of the corners of a putty knife and sharpen the 2 of the edges where it had been rounded. This let it bend a lil to the contour of the shell. Of course first he'd have to use a hatchet to cut/bust the bone around the edges on the sides. Good ole redneck ingenuity...

I've heard of the Log Cabin Republicans...fiscally conservative for the most part, but also pro-2A. Good bunch of folks in that regard.

When I was a teenager, my dad and I went frog gigging with friends/relatives all the time. We almost always came home with a snapper or 2. Good eats! mmmm turtle gumbo!

Funny, I got the same impression. I thought he was trying to get the guy to smart off, so he could rough him up. The guy played it smart too, I think this cop would have loved to see him resist or something.

I know this won't be very popular, but actually think stupid people shouldn't be allowed to vote. I'm not saying there should be an IQ line in the sand, just that folks have a basic understanding of civics, current affairs, and where candidates stand on issues. I'd settle for a 30 minute class in lieu of a test, but Obama would put his community organizers in charge of it and ruin the idea. Likewise, they wouldn't want Ron Paul in charge of it either, so I guess it can't happen.
