If you want even smaller/lighter, there's the Chiappa Little Badger. I have the .22 WMR version, but it comes in .22LR too. It's more accurate than me and the trigger is surprisingly good. More importantly, it's just simple and a ton of fun to shoot.

On my street it's common to see bricks scattered over a 30 foot area where some doofus hit a mailbox. I kid you not, we see one about every 3 or 4 weeks. In our case it's distracted drivers in broad daylight. It scares me that it could just as easily be a someone on the sidewalk being hit. I knew idiots in HS that liked to go out drinking and "bash mailboxes". I was glad to know one broke his arm in the act.

I hope they can recover NRA money from his assets and put him and his cronies in jail for fraud. The NRA will be better off w/out them.

We had a house fire a few years back and all my guns/ammo had to come out of there before the crew would start repairs. That's the only time I ever cursed myself for having so much ammo.

The gun I carried for EDC the longest was a CZ P-01. So, I'm partial to the CZ line-up myself. I actually wanted the PCR with decocker more, but I went with the one I could find in stock at that time. I've been making compromises toward smaller and lighter the past few years. The CZ was the last gun I carried that didn't feel like settling for less.

I've never seen them open on the last 2 weekends of December. I'd definitely call before I headed that way.

My wife read all those Larry McMurtry books and got me hooked when the miniseries started. LOVED THEM! In all fairness, I'll watch any western that comes out.

I think we could figure out what the expected historical sales have been. We could use that to extrapolate the loss manufacturers and retailers suffered. I don't think it's unreasonable to add some punitive damages to encourage them to do the right thing in the future. Then add damages for mental stress for us law-abiding gun owners who also suffered. We should then take that out of the AFT's annual operating budget for however many years it takes to repay the losses. By the time they get back on their feet the country will be a better place.

That's just good common sense right there!

The spreadsheet of how much I spent on each person to make sure nobody feels slighted is a sign that I'm doing it wrong. Next year only my grandbabies get gifts. I'm giving the rest to a better cause: church.

We went through 3 Samsung dishwashers in 4 years. I'll use their phones, but like you said...nothing else they make.

I've had the worst luck with Samsung TVs. One had a power supply issue, one had a backlight go out, and another had the mainboard go out. It could be coincidence, but I lost faith in them. Since I don't play video games, I don't have a 2K source for watching movies, let alone a 4K, and I can't hardly tell the difference in a really good picture or a mediocre picture due to having crappy eyes, I just buy what's on sale nowadays. That's great for me because I save a ton of money buying Vizio, Insignia, etc.

I bet several of us are in that same boat. Unless I started shooting way more often, I'm good on components for the rest of my life as well.
